I am editing my original review to give a fair honest review to potential future customers. They asked me to provide the 5-star review while waiting for my car to be cleaned up which, up to that point, was a decent experience.Then they handed me the keys. After having already circled the vehicle many times while test driving, I noticed several new scratches on the vehicle. I just bought a $60k car and their detail team scratches it? I was mad, am I supposed to just drive off with my car that didn't have 10 miles on it but now has significant scratches and pretend everything was, ok? They apparently thought so. I made the sales manager Brandon come take a look. He promised me it would be taken care of but I made him put it in writing. Additionally, we also agreed they would supply a free dent, ding and scratch protection. This was about the only thing that got me to drive that car off the lot that day and not ask for my money back. When I got back home, they told me to take it to their recommended body shop in my area, get a quote and send it to them. I did. They didn't like the price and asked why I would want to paint a brand-new vehicle and instead said sooner or later you’re going to get a scratch or rock chip anyway. Additionally, the body shop they sent me to isn't even Honda authorized so then I had to take more time out of my day to go somewhere else and get a second quote. They didn't like that quote either. I also took it upon myself to go to my local Honda dealer to see what they would say and they treated me like a customer should be treated and claimed the trim scratches as defects under warranty but understandably couldn't do anything about the tailgate scratches. Well, its 2 months later and no one at Carmack will return my calls, texts or emails and won't send me paperwork for the 3 in 1 protection plan like they promised. I have called the sales manager and the owner multiple times and they are always "out or with a customer" and my sales guy says it out of his hands. In the meantime, I took my car in to my own body shop instead of the incapable detail crew at Carmack. I did this on my own time and dime and had them buff out the tailgate to where it is now almost unnoticeable. Almost... but it’s still there. A constant reminder to never go to this dealership ever again. I should also note they "forgot" to fill up my gas tank the day I bought it, again as promised. I was so flustered about the scratches I drove off and didn't notice this until I about ran out of gas on the highway on my way home. They claim they still owe me this, but apparently it is against their policy to mail me a gas card to make up for this but "if I'm ever in the area" let them know and they will fill me up. Yeah right, I am not going to let this place anywhere near my vehicle again. One more thing, the day I bought the vehicle they literally forgot to even take my $20k down payment. I was walking out the door with keys and paperwork in hand when I had to ask them at what point they wanted my check. Not to say they wouldn't have noticed it in their books eventually, but I wonder if this place even keeps books to begin with. Lucky for them I have morals. The finance guy said he had so much going on he just forgot. Hey, I forget things too (usually not $20k checks, but...) lots of forgetfulness going on at this dealership apparently. Simply unprofessional.When car shopping, my initial thought was does it really matter who the dealership is if they have the car I want at the price I want? I thought no and I would just get my car and drive home. Wow, lesson learned. This customer service experience has been terrible. They got the sale, now they could care less. From the sales team all the way up through ownership. At least take pride in your business and return a phone call. This place is more like your sketchy, used car place masquerading as a Honda dealership. I fell for it because they were the only dealer in a 200-mile radius

Bill Lucas is the best salesperson we have encountered when buying a vehicle. He is not pushy, but very knowledgeable about the vehicles. After buying your vehicle it does not end there. He spends about an hour going over all the features and set up of your vehicle. All in all a one of a kind experience! Worth the drive…we live 45 mins away. Would not shop anywhere else. Thanks again Bill!

This is the 7th car that we have leased or purchased from Carmack Honda. We have always dealt with Bill Lucas. As always, our experience was excellent as Bill is knowledgeable, courteous, and professional in the manner in which he handled our transaction. He makes the experience of purchasing a vehicle a joy and we are thrilled with our new Honda Passport.

Bill Lucas at Carmack Car Capital took great care of me! I have had my same car for 10 years and was nervous for the buying experience. I didn’t need to worry, Bill took great care of me and got me in a car I love.
