County Market is a family-owned grocery store that has been serving the community for over 100 years since its start in Quincy, Illinois. The store is known for its tasty foods, especially their famous fried chicken, Texas Sheet Cake, and scratch-made Meals to Go. The bakery section offers a wide selection, and the deli provides considerate and friendly service. However, some customers have noted that the store's prices are quite high, particularly for deli items like chicken tenders. The store is generally not dirty, but it shows its age and isn’t always as clean as some would prefer. Customers have also experienced mixed service; one found the cashier to be rude and distracted, while others have appreciated the helpfulness of staff. There was a mention of a strange odor upon entering, which was disappointing for a regular shopper. Overall, County Market is a good alternative to larger stores like Walmart and Meijer, especially for those seeking quality foods and a more local shopping experience, despite some concerns about cleanliness and pricing.
The stores customer service manager I believe her name is Jenny, was at the Tilton store today and I was in desperate need of flowers, she went above and beyond for me and helped me get the flowers I needed, and I hope that the right person sees this and knows that she absolutely saved my day today

I really like this store it’s always clean looking and really like the deli counter but the need more people woking you always have to wait to be served and today I told the young man I would like some ham and sliced thin he didn’t show me a slice and I told him thinner and he ignored me! This needs to be corrected.

Very clean and well organized store. I always find what I need, and more times than not, what I didn't think I needed!!
