I tried to purchase a Whirlpool Refrigerator with Water Line and Icemaker from my local Lowe's. I asked one of the Lowe's Associates what I needed in my Kitchen for the installation, and he said a water line with a brass shut off valve within six feet of the refrigerator. I had a plumber come out and install a brass shut off valve, a valve which was actually purchased from the same Lowe's.When the Installation Crew came out to my house they said that they could not install the Whirlpool Refrigerator because my Water Line had copper piping. Well, that is kind of silly as just about any older house DOES have copper piping. So, despite having a brass cut off valve at its end, the Installation Crew refused to install. Naturally, since my purchase was supposed to include installation, I thereby refused to take delivery.I complained to Lowe's, and the Supervisor of the Appliance Department first said that he would open a Ticket to look into the situation, but then tried to convince me that a Ticket was not needed. Well, I insisted on having a Ticket opened on this, and he promised to text me the Ticket Number the same afternoon. No Ticket Number was texted to me. In fact, NO follow up text at all.So, if you want a replacement refrigerator, order from a Vendor that will actually install it rather than try this Bait and Switch routine.

Lowes provided exceptional service during my recent visit, largely thanks to Chris and Del. Chris, the long-haired rocker guy, displayed impressive knowledge and guided me effortlessly throughout the store, ensuring I found everything I needed. Del, on the other hand, offered quick and thorough education on Brad nailers, vital for my project. Their combined efforts made my experience efficient and enjoyable, leaving me impressed with the expertise and assistance provided by the staff at Lowes. This is a huge difference from my experience a couple weeks ago. The employees during that experience made it quite evident how insecure they were about their knowledge of home improvement.

I never really stopped here much in the past but after recently finding out that they carry Irwin Quick-Grip Clamps, a nice selection of other woodworking tools & accessories, and actually have products that other don't. I would like to see a more affordable price range on some items, though as I've found that quite a bit of the items I'm interested in are sadly pretty expensive. Just by simply offering some type of discount program or even incorporating a scheduled day/time-frame (every Saturday between 9am-2pm) that provides customers with an assured percentage rate. By either taking a more selective approach such as: offering a discount towards a particular in-store brand, a particular category- (tools, organizational supplies, home decor), or just a simple customers choice- (customer chooses what their discount goes toward) or maybe a directive approach such as: adding a small token of gratitude to every customer (in-store & online). For example, honoring a certain day to customers such as: A Customer Appreciation Refinement Day Sale- (a 5-10% discount off the entire store to every customer.Eitherway, both examples would overall be beneficial in all the necessary areas as well as almost guaranteeing a position of becoming an even better competitor as well as being a profitably respected company worldwide. I would definitely shop here more often if the prices became more reasonable or even doable for that matter. Otherwise, I would recommend to anyone & everyone who likes to shop as much as I do. Employees have always been professional, friendly, and helpful. Provides an exceptionally welcoming environment in general and has always been satisfyingly organized, well maintained, surprisingly inventoried, and the perfect supply & demand vendor for the everyday home improvements handyman.

I went to Lowes to have a few keys made. It took several minutes to find someone to even help me for beginners. Then the young man informed me he doesn't have the correct keys for two of what I needed. SOOOO, I'll go to Botts!!! A body won't go wrong by going here! ?

Lowe’s is lucky to have employees like Skylor! After one trip yesterday and having five people try to locate an item that said was in stock on the website and not being able to find it. Today I went back looking for it again, thankfully Skylor was working today! He ended up going above and beyond end found said item on the top of a shelf still in a box. He deserves a raise!

I’m from Nashville TN- I went into the Lowes in Danville today( Sat. May 27th) I could not find what I was looking for …. Brad went above and beyond the call of duty by literally taking me exactly to the item I needed and even made sure it was the right fit! He is not only the first smiling face I saw but was incredibly helpful!! We absolutely need more guys like Brad in this world and your store is extremely lucky to have him!! Thanks again Brad!!!
