I was referred to Protech for my car heaters electrical problem and glad I was! The service was quick and excellent! I was shocked at how reasonable their quoted price was and even moreso when I picked up my car and charged less than the quote. Everyone there is so patient, courteous and professional. I can't recommend Protech enough

If I could rate zero stars, I would. My roadside assistance took my car there in July with transmission issues. Bruce wanted money for parts up front which I reluctantly agreed to. I gave Bruce my credit card info over the phone and he didn't run my card but stored my credit card info along with cvv code illegally then ran it days after I authorized him to. I have called there every week for 13 weeks trying to gain information and updates as to when my car will be returned to me. I cannot get Bruce on the phone and when I do he can't wait to get me off the phone. He has sent my car off somewhere or he's been working on it but I try to get a completion date nailed down and he doesn't want to set one. The transmission is in, he can't get it programmed, now he's taken it somewhere else, now it's programmed but it needs a control module, now the control module can't be programmed, now it needs a wiring harness, now it's at a transmission shop??? None of this did I authorize past him telling me it would be a $2500 repair and me giving him the green light. Never not one time did he call me asking if I wanted to proceed past all these difficulties and never not once did he call me with any information at all! I've been calling that place and being told to call back in 15 minutes but Bruce is either never there or he's busy helping a customer and his employee doesn't have any information at all, I don't even know why he gets to answer the phone. I'm now over 3 months in and still don't have a car or any information as to when. I never got anything in writing from him after I requested it multiple times, not even an estimate which he promised to send me 3 months ago! I've known from the beginning his slow game is to nickel and dime me until I owe him 5 grand, then legally steal my car for parts when I give up waiting. Now it's looking like that's going to happen. I'm really sick of dealing with it and I'm just going to have to buy a new car. I would have liked to have done that 3 months ago and not deal with the headache of ever driving through Danville Illinois or having the displeasure of ever knowing about Protech or Bruce.

Zero out of ten would not recommend. Their customer service is trash, they are rude as all out doors and on top of that they destroyed the inside of my vehicle. When you call to get an appointment the representative acts like they have better time consuming things to do. It’s just a horrible place all around.
