Broke down while traveling. Came to this business for a diagnosis. The quote was reasonable but they didn’t have the parts in stock so rather than wait we located the parts and put them on ourselves. They were nice enough to squeeze us in for an alignment when they opened the next morning so we could be back on our way. After waiting for 3 1/2 hours, I asked if there were any problems. The response I got was “we just finished the mechanical work and are starting the alignment now. Should only take 30 minutes.” Since we didn’t come for mechanic work, we started panicking and asking what work have they been doing this whole time? Turns out, they didn’t do any mechanic work. Their lift broke while our truck was in the air and they spent 2 1/2 fixing it so they could get our truck back on the ground. We ended up waiting there for over 4 hours for the alignment. Their diagnosis ended up being wrong and our problem was not fixed.
So don’t waste your time or money here with people that don’t know how to communicate to their customers.

Not much to do or see in this city. But this shop is huge. Friendly guys and they did everything GREAT! Im very judgmental with my cars. They did exactly what I needed. Swap tires on new wheels, no damage, balanced , New tire valves and reprogrammed my sensors to the new wheels for about 100$. I'd day thats a deal in the middle of a small town like this. Avoid other places. These are the guys

Got a piece of scrap metal near sidewall of tire. Others wouldn't try to fix it, but they sure did.

I went to Watson's general tire on 05/01/2025 to have tires mounted and balanced. I was charged a reasonable amount for the labor. After the work was complete I thought everything was fine.
This was until a couple weeks later when I took my car onto the interstate and the steering wheel started violently shaking at highway speeds. Not understanding at the time that the issue could've came from the work done at Watson's, I made an appointment with my preferred Honda dealer since my vehicle is under warranty.
After the dealership diagnosed the problem I learned that the issue was due to Watson's failure to properly balance my wheels and tires. Then to make matters worse the dealership also informed me that one of my tires was mounted inside out.
After my business was finished with the dealership I went back to Watson's believing that with their failure a refund would be owed to me. Unfortunately they don't feel the same. They stated I should've came back to them and they would've corrected the problem at no charge. So i guess I should've known that the issue was because they failed to accurately do the job I paid them for. They offered to change my oil as a refund and stated they couldn't give me a monetary refund because the only thing I paid for was labor.
Its a shame that Watson's General Tire won't hold themselves accountable and instead blamed me for taking my car to the dealership where I have a manufacture warranty. Why would I want them to change my oil? Are they going to buy me a new engine when they don't do that right? My father in law recommended Watson's to me back in 2018 when I moved to Danville and I've been going there ever since for any tire need or issue. Never again.

I was over an hour away from home when my low air light came on and my tire started hissing. They found a bolt stuck in my tire, patched very quickly, and only charged me $25!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR THERE!
First of all they don’t set your tire pressure monitor. They are a tire shop!were
Second I asked for an estimate for a strut bushing NOtT diastolic service. They tried to charge me $30 for diastolic fee for and estimate. I did not ask for diastolic service. They were very rude a told me it was the same thing look at the sign. I didn’t pay anything I didn’t ask for. I won’t be back!

My tire picked up a piece of metal on the interstate. I changed to the donut and came into Watson General Tire for help. I am not from the area, so I had no idea where to go. Watson's was very quick and fixed my tire for cheap. Thanks!
