Overpowering pork smell on the weekends.
I really appreciate this grocery store for its excellent selection of Balkan ethnic foods—something that’s hard to find elsewhere. The variety and quality of products make it a go-to spot for anyone looking for authentic ingredients.
However, one issue I’ve noticed is that on weekends, the store heavily promotes smoked baby back ribs, and the entire place is filled with the strong smell of pork. While I understand that some customers enjoy this, it would be great if the store could consider a more neutral shopping environment. Not everyone eats pork, and the overwhelming smell can be off-putting.
I hope management takes this into consideration and finds a way to make the store more welcoming for all shoppers. Otherwise, it’s a great place to shop.

⚠️They did not respond to my email. So here it is. They are repackaging old bread and putting a new expiration date. Poor attempt at making it look like a perfectly fine bread. They put a “new” label on top of the old one but “forgot” to “hide”some details. That explains why the bread was $3.99 when typically $4.50. Still thats not an excuse to lie to your customers in such a disrespectful way.
⚠️They are doing a similar thing with the bbq. BBQ ribs that seem to be well done are old from the previous day and they only put it in the oven to make it hot as if it was just cooked

Terrible customer service even the so called manager Chris he is the rudest person and arrogant like who he thinks he is well he just lost several customers and didn't care at all maybe the owner JP SHOULD LOOK INTO THE WAY HE TREATS CUSTOMERS!!' I guess when you are a millionaire it doesn't matter!! Jewel & Petes love my money

We had a Celebration of Life for my father-in-law this weekend and had it catered by Brookhaven in Burr Ridge. They did a fabulous job! The taste and presentation was the best and everyone commented on how lovely it all was. Consider them the next time you need an event catered. You will not be sorry.

A decent-size local grocery store with an adequate international variety, quality meats, and fresh produce. They have a weekly advertisement which is very informative and serves as a good basis to determine what groceries to purchase and what meals we would prepare and cook for the upcoming week. I would normally visit on a Wednesday or Thursday morning when there are less people and I have always found the items that I intended to buy. As a note to self, their catering options seem very reasonably priced and appealing. I would love to give those a try one of these days.
