This home depot pretty much has all you need but the staff here is not too nice. I was trying to buy a toilet flushing system to fix the leaking problem. The person who covers The plumbing section is not willing to help at all. When I asked some advice his only reply is I don't know what happened. I can't tell you. I was trying to show him the video I took and he just simply respond I don't want to see this. Fine. If you think I am going too far I can definitely go to menard or other department store but please don't ruin Home Depot's reputation. This is really one of the worst experience I had in past ten years at this Home depot.

People like Dan make all the difference, the cart pusher Dan was super helpful and didn't take my money when I tried to tip him for his help. Very kind man, will definitely revisit this location bc of people like Dan.

I've been to eleven (!!) Home Depot stores in the past 72 hours looking for a specific item -- I called around and was sent to certain stores, only to find out this item was out of stock or couldn't be sold. However, this location went above and beyond to help me! Jim at the CS desk and the manager Laura went so far as to get the item out of the overheard storage for me, which is amazing! And the team was super nice about it, not at all annoyed or put out. Thank you, Jim, and thank you, Laura!

In the Home Depot of Shorewood at the Pro Desk works a lady by the name of Geina. Geina amplifies the word employee. She goes out of her way to help HD contractors and guests. Geina is caring, kind and extremely organized. She is always pleasant. Never makes you feel like you are ever bothering her even though she may have 2 phones hanging for her head and a text message on her cell phone from a contractor. If you ever get an opportunity to go to the Shorewood HD, go meet Geina, as she will treat you like family. Thank you for such great service, hospitality and kindness. You are the best!

This is an excellent Home Depot. They are slightly understaffed, but the employees they have are quite helpful.

Cashiers were fast to check us out in line. They have ample parking and everything we wanted was in stock besides one item.

Generally, Lowe's is my primary go to place for tools at home building supplies. Unfortunately, from time to time I have to go to Home Depot to purchase things that is not available at Lowe's. When Home Depot claims to have something available on their website, but the customer says they've been out of stock for weeks, it shows a lack of trust and honesty from this company.As a disabled veteran, it should be pretty obvious to employees that I'm not able to pick up heavy items and put them in a cart. The few times I've been there, Customer Service individuals are talking with each other is about non-work related items and you almost have to hit them with a rock to get their attention.Three girls were standing around the one open checkout counter and didn't even bother acknowledging me no matter how long I stood there. Again, they were talking about friends outside of work, and then absolutely no hurry to assist customers.When the female cashier finally approached me, her tone of voice literally sounded disappointed that I interrupted her little conversation because I was not capable of lifting the items to check them out myself. But then suddenly when a manager showed up, a smile magically appeared on her face and she began to try and cover up her behavior.When a store has an opportunity to win over a new customer, they should take advantage of it. A customer who spends $98, with the right customer service, would come back and spend another $4000.

First time coming here. I needed to grab myself some screws and brackets for joy new table project I needed to work on. I definitely found everything I needed without issue. They even had a great Christmas sale going on by the front entrance too. Any way, the staff here is definitely friendly here. Service was quick and swift. It's great to get here in the morning too. Store is clean and well organized.

Every experience I've had at this Home Depot location has been wonderful. I usually always need help when I come here and the employees always go above and beyond to ask if I need help before I can get to them first. They are very knowledgeable and assist me with whatever I need.We rented a Penske truck today and we were extremely happy with our experience. I will definitely be renting from Home Depot moving forward. We were very pleased with the customer service and walk through they did before releasing the truck. It was much better than competitor brands that we have used in the past.

Been here about 20 times in the last month as we've just moved to a new house nearby. Everyone in the entire store is extremely helpful and pleasant. Jerry in the paint section needs a promotion. He went above and beyond in making sure we had everything we needed to paint our main level. This Home Depot definitely doesn't reflect its rating.

Returned an item to the store in Darien, Illinois on Dec. 23 and STILL have not received a credit for an item that was new and in an unopened box. Manager of said store keeps putting me off telling me it takes more than 10 business days to issue a credit. NO other retailer takes this long WHY is Home Depot the exception?

wanting to talk to somebody from Millwork. the only employee that was working the desk was busy at the time. he treated me very rude told me all the prices were on everything it just look myself. I told them that I had a cabinet layout dimensioned and needed availability. he told me he doesn't do that, he has to send someone to my house to measure. he acted totally put out. disgusting
