Just not a fan of the inconsistency. Sometimes my hair cuts are great other times they completely disregard what I’m asking. Clearly stated I want 1/4 inch off and she decided to do double that.

This great clips is amazing! Every stylist greets you with a friendly hi and smile! My go to stylist would have to be ariel ! Her positive and calming vibes are a plus but she truly gets to know you during your cut and styles ! She listens to what you want done to your hair but also will give her opinion and cuts you the best! Highly recommend going to ariel you wont be disappointed !!

About 5:30pm, April 23, 2024, I went to this location (2133 75th DSt, Darien, IL 60561) for a haircut to get ready for my son’s college graduation celebration. The lady stylist asked me if she would do number 3 on the top and 1 on the sides which was in their system. I said yes, but I also told her the top need to be like the breath of a finger and sides like a square shape going up. That was what I told every stylist over the last 10 years and never had problems. However, today’s stylist started from the top with a number 3 trimmer (at least she said so) right away, immediately left a ditch on my top of my head. I told her it was too short. She said you told me to do so. It was too late to do any damage control. She then continued to finish the buzz cut I never wanted. It only took her about two minutes and she was done. She did not apologize and blamed me. She was even humming while she checked me out, totally not caring how I felt. I did not tip her, sorry, she did not deserve it. I could not believe I was in and out of the shop in only 4-5 minutes! Every other stylist always started from the sides and then the top with scissors and often asked me if the length was ok. Now my hair looks ridiculously short and my family members keep laughing at me. I was told I looked like a newly drafted North Korean soldier. I will see how my colleagues and students would react to this terrible haircut.

15 years I’ve been coming to great clips with little to no issues, but my last two haircuts here have been by far the worst haircuts I’ve ever had. Not sure why I came back after my last cut but this one is equally bad. It’s hard to justify going somewhere else because it will certainly be more expensive but now I have no other choice.

Very disappointed. I asked for face framing layered and layered in the back. She trimmed maybe a quarter in all around. Sent less than five minutes with me. Then after she was done she told me she couldnt cut my hair the way I wanted because it was think. Will not return...updated I went back to the salón and the manage Teresa took very good care of me. She was friendly and gave me sonething even butterfly than what I originally had in my mind! Thank you very much!

I used to bring my child to this place for last 6months, but today was the worst service ever. I have to go somewhere to fix his hair and a top of it she cut his neck so bad and told mi “oh his skin is so sensitive “. No, it’s not sensitive, picture is showing everything and i will post it right now.
