This place is a fire hazard. Extremely dangerous after 6:00 p.m. they shut down half the store. So if you need plywood or drywall or any wood you have to go out the tiny thin door near the garden. So if there is a fire, an emergency and several people are trying to squeeze through a small spot with people with plywood and other large objects have nowhere to go. It's absolutely ridiculous and to top it off all the aisles with plywood, drywall or anything that involves a wider aisle was completely blocked off for half the store. You had to squeeze down a thin aisle while nobody offered to help you. Just watched you tip over stacks of buckets. Things in the end caps flying off. Nobody cared. I will be reporting this place to the Darien fire department because this is ridiculous and unsafe.

Although I don't mind the natural smells hitting your senses as you walk in, the prices could be governed better. I paid twice I did last year for a lawn mower tune up kit. Another issue I have is the lack of floor personnel. I normally don't ask for help as I like to do the work myself and look around to find whatever it is I'm looking for, but if i can't find it, there's also nobody around to point you in the proper direction. Hence why I'm subtracting one star.

Bought hundreds of dollars in trim. Took the time to track the lengths of each piece, checkout lady proceeded to hand measure every single board with sloth that harkened to the zootopia dmv. I'll never get that half hour back.

It is a very big store. You certainly can get lost!!! The employees are very good and show me where I need to go to cut my time in half. I really like this Home Depot compared to Downers Grove.

Don't shop here if you want supplies. Half the store is closed down. No one wants to work. Registers are all closed down. Don't go to garden. It's never open. Have fun watching employees walk right past you while you haul a thousand lb cart halfway across the store because an employee didn't want to work today and be a cashier by garden. It's not that hard. Safe garden opens at 9. :00 I say open it at opening time like everything else. If not, leave the register open, I'll do it myself. It's not that hard. It's the simplest easiest job known to mankind and you can't find someone to do it

I was going to spend a few thousand dollars there today.
The security guy was so obvious he was following me it was almost comical.
I had him following me through the whole store for my entertainment.
I guess this one back fired on you @Home Depot.
I left and will consider going else where for my needs.
