The Decatur Family YMCA is a clean and bright facility with plenty of cardio and sufficient strength training equipment. It features an adequate lap pool and a warm, inviting family pool. The upstairs track overlooks basketball courts and has hanging bags for boxing. There is also a racquet ball court and a training studio, with plenty of classes available. Everything is kept up to date and in good shape. The staff are friendly and efficient. However, some note the basketball gym is not regulation size and has limited rims. Lockers are available to secure belongings.
I haven't been here for awhile due to health issues so I felt very fortunate to visit and take these photos. I used the gym with no issues, actually they were very helpful showing me around. Absolute 5 Star review for this place, feel free to come yourself or bring the whole family.

The YMCA in Decatur has wonderful facilities, staff, and equipment for your fitness needs. This gym is accessible, friendly, and clean.
