“Good selection of products. Friendly staff. Only suggestion I would make is to keep the aisles clear and free of boxes and storage carts. It's a bit difficult to move around the store with or without a shopping cart due to clutter in the aisles.”
“Good place to shop if you only need a few things and wanna get in and out of the store fairly quickly. I hate that they have a self checkout but it never seems to be open. That's not really a big deal if the line is not very long. But it would still make things go quicker if they would either have more than one cashier at a time or open the self checkout.”

“There shelves are not always stocked due to lack of employees on truck days. So, it is always messy. When they work with a skeleton crew it's not their fault. Its Dollar generals fault. We are only human and can only do so much. Schedule more employees on truck days DOLLAR GENERAL!!”

“Dollar General on Pershing is more organized than Dollar General on Mound Rd. I like Dollar General stores because I can get in and get out fast. Their prices may be a little bit more, but they are very handy.”
“I shop regularly at Dollar General except at the Frist Drive location in Decatur Illinois. The store is beyond dirty. The windows and floors are covered in dirt. There is no hand sanitizer or anyone helping with cart wipe down. Do the store a favor and bring in professional cleaners. Your sales will increase.”
