There is no worse place in America that you could take your car to. I paid $3100 for a transmission rebuild, had difficulties, brought the car back, left without a warranty or a receipt because I called him out on his BS. I will be re-commenting with results from suing him. Absolutely under no circumstance take your car to this place. Terrible business no integrity at all extremely unprofessional. Inbox me or message me-if you need video or picture proof of the entire transaction, you will be shocked and appalled. They put a half dollar size hole under my driver side door. He agreed to pay for it and fix it after denying it, but when I asked for my receipt, all hell broke loose, and I called the cops to make an incident report to show the judge because I got a receipt for a converter that I did not order instead of a receipt for a rebuilt transmission.
Update I’m just now able to go to court but eight months later it’s exactly what I thought it was. This clown wouldn’t give me a receipt for “ Rebuilding “ My transmission because he did a hack job, which is why it shifts like a booking bronco just eight months later And has been throwing codes since I left there. After I paid him, I told him Something was wrong on the way home and even though he allowed me to bring the car back, he did not fix the problem and refused to give me a receipt for the rebuild and instead gave me a Receipt for a stall converter. I ended up having to pay Nearly $1000 to fix the hole that they put in my rocker panel molding. Terrible business.

I had a very upsetting experience. They misdiagnosed the problem and put a bandaid on it once they found actual cause. But charged me almost $500. When I called to see how we could move forward I was polite and courteous. I was responded to very defensively. My teenage daughter was told to deliver me a threatening message when she picked up $100 of the $500 reimbursement. It was bad all around! I cannot begin to express how rude and unprofessional Matt was. I felt intimidated. I was ripped off. Highly discourage using this shop!

We had a great experience having our 2016 Dodge Caravan transmission rebuilt. RJ is very nice, thorough, and honest. They have great knowledge of transmissions and why they fail. SS Transmission took a difficult situation for our family and made it smooth. I would recommend them and go back in the future.

I have been going there for awhile but today I called and I literally felt so bombarded by negative thoughts …. I asked RJ to possibly take a ride to see what might be going on and I mean I have no idea what it could be so I asked a “mechanic” to possibly listen to the sound and see if tire or transmission… I got told “ well where did u get your transmission? I didn’t do it did I ? I didn’t get paid for anything right ? So go to the place that did it!!!” But yet it’s an hour away so I was trying to save gas and go in town to see if I need to go to them or not it may of been just a tire issue so wouldn’t of needed to make that drive… but the way he just talked to me like he refuses to even look at it was so rude and very disrespectful in my eyes …. I didn’t ask you to tell me where I should go, I asked u to listen to a sound 🤦🏻♀️ and all you had to do was say no we don’t do front end work anymore and if transmission would go to the place that put it in !!!! Which I know if it’s a transmission issue then I would go to them… I ain’t slow!!!! smh.. I just wanted it checked first by someone I thought was a little more professional o well, talk more polite to people ✅

Had a Ford Escape with a trashed 6F35 transmission. Ford would only put in a new one for $7,000. Why would I put in one with the same shortcomings as the one that failed? S&S rebuilt it (with upgrades) for $4,600. The car shifts smoother and performs better than it ever did. They earned my trust and any business I can send their way.

I can not express my gratitude for this buisness enough. In the past week with 2 separate vehicles we have had several issues that RJ and Matt have answered my calls and repaired all 3 issues with no problem. I can not stress enough that if you any type of mechanical issue fixed on your foreign or domestic vehicles that this is the only call you need to make.
