Would rather go to Costco! They are always cleaner and more variety of quality products. I don't have any positive comment to say about Sam's. They are not what they once was.

Wonderful staff! They are all helpful and friendly! The manager Rob runs that place like a navy ship! If its not done right, he will get it done right! And Anthonia is so nice and cheery. I love chatting with her, she can tell me pretty much anything about the store. The bakery is the best in town! There are always carts available, and they even wipe the handles with disinfectant to make them nice and sanitary for the next member. Yearly membership is very affordable, i only paid $35 for a year. And you get your moneys worth on just about everything in the store. That Café is outstanding with HUGE all beef hot dogs, HUGE pizza slices, and ice cream. The Club can even give you the iphone 13 for free with unlimited everything at great rates! I love the place! I stop by almost every day!

Kudos to this Sams with its newly opened gas station. This Sams has been on the weak side as membership stores goes with no pharmacy, no extras, etc. but given the fact that is in Decatur, a super depressed, economic slum of a city even by Illinois standards, its a testament to the dedication Sams has to keeping this store open. It has to be a loss leader. The new gas station is kicking the butts of the inbred gas station monopolies here. Take Casy's for example, these mobsters routinely ran up their prices in conjunction with their competitors (back room mobster deals) to routinely keep Decatur prices at a 20 cent per gallon premium over Springfield and Champaign. Now that Sams entered the neighborhood, suddenly they all found Jesus and have struggled to meet the Sams club price. Go figure. Ain't it sweet what a little competition can do? Major thank you to Sams for bringing some sweet honesty to a sorely mobster mentality gas market we have in Decatur. Worth the price of membership alone to see that happen.

So angry right now. Awful customer service at the Cafe. They are closed due to not having enough staff. 10 days or so ago, I went to the Cafe to put in an order for 10 pizzas for 05/15/2021 for my son's birthday...same as I have done for the last 2 birthdays (minus COVID year). The young lady told me I should come in on the Friday before and place the order. That was today. The Cafe is closed and the Cafe manager didn't care that I had tried 10 days ago and was told to come back. Very disappointed in a store I frequent every week.

For a membership store, it'd be nice if they actually enforced wearing masks. Honestly there's not a lot of benefit to shopping here unless you need bulk, otherwise is about as painful as shopping at Walmart

Very impressed that during the covid 19 crisis the store manager took time out to contact me about an issue I had. She corrected the situation over the phone,. I could easily have been put off due to the craziness of supply and demand. Made my day

It's sad that they're taking their customer service away and good luck getting the job there.

My husband loves their pizza and I love their hotdogs, the best in Decatur, Illinois. I love the freshness of their produce. I can get most of the things I need at Sam’s. We go to Sam’s everyday just to enjoy at the cafe area and at the same time looking for good or better deals.

I was at Sam's for lunch and just decided to pick up much-needed milk there instead of somewhere else. I had my two young children, ages three and one, who both needed naps, so I really didn't want to go in anywhere else where they would most likely have meltdowns. I get to my vehicle, and I drop the milk on the pavement while trying to open the door while carrying my one year old and the milk back from the cart. It busts at the bottom and drains everywhere. While I'm standin

I mean it's big it's overwhelming it's a bit audacious but overall if you do the math you do save lots of money I had my smartphone with me and did lots of price comparisons on things like Amazon in real time and it truly was more cost effective to buy there from Sam's. But you got to think you're also putting the little guy in peril
