Is it supposed to take over an hour for a pickup order EVERY time. People in the parking lot asking each other how long its been since they saw a worker. Noone answers the phones and when you go inside there's half a dozen employees just standing around. Management is a joke at BOTH Decatur Il locations.

I have been trying to order a pair of prescription eye glasses for over a week. The optical technician and her supervisor can not login to check our Blue Cross Blue Shield vision insurance discounts. I would not rate them a single star, but I have no choice.

The staff there could use a little bit of training on customer care when they're not on A Register. Most of the staff ignore you even when you have a question about an area that they happen to be in. My expectation is, if you don't know anything about that area, be willing to find someone that IS familiar with that area. But instead, if they don't know anything about that area, even if they're just stocking, they ignore you out right.

We have ordered groceries here for years. Ever since covid, we have been loyal customers weekly. And I'm not talking small orders I am talking $300 minimum x̌WEEKLY!! They have always missed some things but recently it's gotten awful. They fill orders and don't deliver all of the items and then tell you theres nothing they can do and blame the third party delivery service THEY CHOOSE TO USE! And I know we are not alone because often times we get bags that aren't ours. Today we didn't get our coffee creamer or Jack's pizza but we got somebody else's impossible meatballs and frozen smoothie fruit. We rarely use Walmart anymore and we chose to go with kroger. A little more expensive than Walmart but you don't have to worry about not getting half of your order and then having to double buy half of your stuff anyways. They also like to double charge you for stuff and then take 7 business days to refund you. Shop elsewhere and do not shop here. If you drive by Walmart and the winds blowing just right, and you can sniff past the soy beans in the air, you can smell the incompetence radiating from the building.

My review is for the grocery store pick up. Yesterday (Dec 8th 2024) around 8 a.m. I made a pick up order for 8 p.m.. My husband arrived to pick up at 8 and he was then notified groceries would be delayed. I called to see how long and was told after 10 so my husband should just go home because they close at 10. I explained this was a huge inconvenience as we do not live in town (about 20-25 minutes away) and he was not notified about delay until after the reserved pick up time. The person I spoke to said their manager had agreed the groceries would be done before 10 if my husband was willing to wait. They would not tell me when before 10 just that it would be done before. So my husband waited. At 9:45 I started calling. No one would answer and no one came out. My husband waited until after 10 to see if anyone would bring our groceries but they did not. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. They knew he was sitting out there waiting and had been for 2 hours. Terrible way to treat somebody!

The phone number literally does not work. I have called several times to see if the optometry department has an optometrist on staff and everytime i got 3:43 minutes of ringings.

This walmart seems dark and dingy compared to other Walmart I've been too.
Something always feel wrong. The staff is always just kind of grumpy and aggressive.
I get what I need and leave as soon as possible.
