We stopped in yesterday to look at some fabric samples. The sales associate was unfriendly and not very helpful. We had quite the opposite experience at Pottery Barn where we stopped after Crate and Barrel. The sales associate was friendly and very helpful in assisting us with answering our questions. Customer service means a lot.

Walked in around 11:30am yesterday was not greeted. Instead 3/4 people all looking down at their laptops by the registers. Not a welcoming atmosphere.

Ammendment to previous review! Customer service reached out the same day and remedied my exchange option! I had no problem at the store today, was able to exchange Christmas gift to something more useful and I love the choices! Thank you Customer service!

I came to this store to exchange a Christmas gift we recieved. There exchange policy is 30 days. We are 8 days past the policy date. They wouldn't even consider an exchange. I really believe they should extend their policy dates during the holidays. People travel, go on vacation, are out of town during the holidays and this 30 days makes it very hard to honor their exchange policy. I will not be shopping at a Crate & Barrel anytime soon with type of customer service.

I usually love shopping at Crate and Barrel, but my recent experience was really disappointing. I was browsing the barware section, when an older woman, who looked to be an Indian-American woman, approached me in a very rude manner and excused me away from where I was looking. I was shocked by her attitude—it was so negative and unwelcoming. I was planning to make a purchase, but after that interaction, I decided to leave. It's a shame, because I typically enjoy Crate and Barrel’s products, but this experience really soured my opinion of the store. I hope they address customer service issues like this in the future.

It was our first time at crate & barrel we got all of our dinner plates and cheese borad. It was a great experience. Team was very helpful will shop again

While I usually enjoy shopping at Crate and Barrel, my interactions at this store have consistently been outstanding. However this last visit was below the standard I’ve come to expect. Unfortunately, my experience yesterday, involving a staff member named Anita, was particularly uncomfortable and frustrating.
Although Anita wasn’t directly handling my return transaction, she questioned why a coaster I was returning wasn’t wrapped in its original packaging. Her approach felt inappropriate and intrusive, especially since she wasn’t the employee managing the return. The whole interaction was awkward and left me feeling very uncomfortable.

Staff is so absolutely rude and not helpful whatsoever. Very rude to me in the store and on the phone because I had an issue with my order that they cancelled for whatever reason. Also lied to me several times about where the missing half of my order was. Got told different things from different associates. The most snobbiest woman ever acting like you owe them something. Never again

I ordered something online and picked it up to save the delivery fee. I had measured to be sure it would fit in the car first, lol. Staff were very kind, couldn't have been easier.

I’m not sure if warehouse inspection quality is sub par or what but this is the second day that the delivery team has attempted to deliver a swivel chair that isn’t fully functional. At the very minimum, a swivel chair is expected to swivel. I’m surprised that no one at the warehouse is even checking that! For the amount of delivery fee that is paid each time, the least the warehouse can do is to ensure quality is maintained across products sent out for delivery. Coordinating and rescheduling delivery is a whole other issue - delivery team is almost always late and have no consideration for your schedule. They do not wear gloves or shoe covers unless explicitly requested. Love the furniture but getting extremely tired of the whole delivery process! Totally drains the fun out for you.
In store design staff ant Deer Park are really really fun and sweet to work with though! Shannon Alex and Deb have been super helpful…..but when the quality of furniture in the warehouse is subpar and coordinating delivery is such a hassle… what’s the incentive to go back for more? Very disappointed

Okay this was back in November 2023, my husband and I bought furniture from Crate & Barrel, drawn by their 20% off promotion with a credit card application. Despite confirming with customer service that the discount would apply even with financing, it never was. They kept promising it would be applied next month, but it never happened. Their customer service was not helpful at all, never solved my problem. We’re very dissatisfied with this store and their poor handling of the situation.
