Rhea is extremely talented. I had been going to a colorist and stylist separately for years and wanted someone who could do both. We get along very well and are very similar! I love how thorough she is and I trust her to do her thing! You won’t regret trying out her salon. It’s an adorable hidden gem in Palatine.

Rhea is such a phenomenal hair stylist! This was my first time coming in for a haircut and I literally walked out in love. I haven’t felt this confident in awhile and I definitely will recommend her/this salon to everyone I know. I’ll definitely be back!

Emma did such a great job on my highlights, I could not recommend more! She and Rhea are so friendly and creative such a comfortable environment. They seem to know a lot about hair health and the science behind it and aren’t just pushing for you to buy products.

I’ve honestly spent years trying to find a salon that actually understands curly hair, and every time I went somewhere new, I left disappointed. Then I found Etherheal Beauty while searching online, and I’m so glad I gave it a try.
From the start, Rhea made me feel super comfortable. She greeted me, offered me a drink (even hot chocolate since it was December, which I thought was so sweet), and really listened when I explained my hair struggles: the frizz, the heavy ends, wanting more volume, and just wishing my curls would actually curl. She explained exactly what kind of cut she was going to give me and why, which made me feel like I could trust her.
While cutting my hair, she kept the conversation going and also showed me the products she was using and how to use them. I’ve never really known much about curly-hair products, so that info was really helpful. When she finished and diffused my hair, I was honestly shocked! My curls had never looked so good. They were defined, bouncy, full of volume, and for the first time, I felt like I was seeing my hair’s real potential.
It’s been almost two years now, and every single time Rhea cuts my hair, I leave feeling amazing. She listens, she cares, and she always gets it right. I’m even planning on getting lowlights next year, which will be my first time coloring my hair and I trust her 100%.
If you’ve got curly hair and you’re tired of salons that don’t get it, I can’t recommend Rhea and Etherheal Beauty enough.

I got my hair cut and I love it so much. My stylist Emma was so fun to talk to and such a great stylist. She did such a good job giving me layers and made sure to perfect every step. Loved this experience, make sure to check this place out and get your hair done. The owner was also super friendly and nice. Definitely coming back!

Today was my first visit to Ethereal Beauty Salon, and I can honestly say I’ve found my forever salon! I absolutely love how my haircut turned out, and even my husband said it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. The entire team was so friendly and welcoming, and they made me feel right at home. LOVE THIS PLACE! Rhea and the rest of the girls are all amazing. I’ve gone here for over a year now and had many services including balayage, highlights, lowlights, treatments, and haircuts. They did my hair and makeup for my bridal shower as well and I couldn’t have been happier with it. Rhea is insanely talented and such a kind human. I can’t recommend this place enough!!

I went to Etherheal for my first time last week. With just a couple sample pictures, Rhea knew exactly what to do with my hair. I could not be more pleased with my haircut and color. I went to a party just a few days later and received so many compliments. I think I have found my new salon home. Also, Emma was fantastic as well. Everyone in the salon was so nice and made you feel so welcome. Love love love this salon!!

Rhea is truly a magician when it comes to hair. I just got my haircut (U cut, long layers, face framing pieces) and I loved the result! My hair feels sleeker, lighter, and fresh. The product she uses are great quality, and she is knowledgeable about hair texture, styling, and hair care. Would highly recommend going here for haircuts and styling.

My daughters originally got their haircuts from Etherheal first and then I did. Love my color and my haircut. I had a hard time getting the brown I wanted and I got it at Etherheal! Rhea's great with color!!
