Terrible customer serivce at the Deer Park location as well as a poor example from the Manager Mellisa. The older lady behind the counter saved me from walking out by offering me hot coffee. Mellisa who is the manager kept eyeing me rudely from the time that I walked into the store, then when I walked past her at the counter she rudely said , " Can I help you" that is when the older lady intervened and asked me if I would like a cup of hot coffee. She was very sweet as well as the younger cashier. This manager sets a terrible example of customer service and piss poor example for her employees. I will most likely not recommend this location the service gives WS a bad name even though they have great products and branding. Corporate needs to do something about this. I wouldnt be suprised if the sales numbers for this store are low due to service.

Beware! They do not allow returns on food items, including glass jarred items that obviously have never been opened.

Store is organized and clean, personal tried to help but was very self oriented. Not to say that they helped me order my iron online, which was not bad, it was bad the fact that i got it almost one year after. They called only once to tell me about delay, but as a mention, they never had the item in stock but let you buy, and each month you might be notified that it is delayed, add another month, the most regretted purchase ever, i would've bought somewhere else if i knew it takes years

I love this location. I went to purchase a Breville espresso maker and Laura was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. A few days later I returned and Laura remembered me and while they didn't have what I was looking for, she offered to order it for me. In addition when I got the espresso maker I had mentioned I had hurt my back and she let me sit for almost the entire purchase and offered assistance with getting it to my vehicle. It really was a fantastic experience and I plan to return in the future when I need anything for my kitchen.

I went into WS store today to check out some knife sets. I suffers from auto immune disease that affects my wrists and it is very important to me that knife won’t be too heavy for me to handle. A older lady approached me and helped me getting the Wusthof’s chef knife out of the locked glass storage. I held a knife with my left hand and placed my index finger on top of the blade to mimic the chopping motion. She immediately commented on my posture saying that I am not holding the knife correctly and that’s why it’s causing a strain in my wrist. Sometimes, I feel a weakness in my wrist and all of sudden I can lose a grip. By placing the index finger on top of blade helps me control the blade if I ever lose a grip. The comment from her was very unnecessary. Multiple times, she mentioned that she has a long experience in cooking. I understand that my husband and I are young couple but we don’t deserve to be a treated like a little kid shopping for cookware.

Williams Sonoma sells a set of 6 melamine mixing bowls that are not cheap & are very breakable. Do yourself a favor & find some from somewhere else that doesn't cost an arm & a leg that won't break. I called them both corporate & the store to get a replacement of one that broke in pieces & there is nothing they would do to help me out. The tops of the mixing bowls are not secure either so they all in all- not a good investment for any kitchen.

Went to complete an exchange in Deer Park. Blonde woman helping me told me three times she could resale the items. She was visibly bothered my request rolling her eyes and raising her brows at me. I wanted to exchange the hand soap and lotion - I know you cant resell it because I opened them - however the scent was horrible. I wanted to exchange them not a refund. She proceeded to share with me how it would hit their "numbers". I even offered to it in Lake forest where I purchased it! She had to call the manager for approval smh! Crazy to see a grown woman behind the counter with zero customer service skills and frankly zero people skills.
