Where do I even begin with the nightmare I’ve experienced from this place the last month. I’ve been living here for 2 years with no issues with the previous management. I wanted to transfer from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom unit last month last minute due to personal emergency reasons. I can’t even begin to explain the constant problems that kept arising and how many times I had to put in work orders for the SAME issues. Maintenance was extremely incompetent and could not fix it properly.Every single one of my air vents in all rooms was so dirty. The wall surrounding the vents had black marks as well. I had asked for this to be fixed ASAP because I have a newborn. I felt very unsafe not knowing what we were breathing in. After repeated emails and having to take my son downstairs multiple times to try to talk to management, they finally fixed it 1 month later! First, the work order was closed, I asked management why if it wasn’t fixed. They responded by saying to not worry cause they have it on their list to address. I’m told week after week it will be fixed. I sent ANOTHER follow up email last week with no response. So I emailed again (after hiring my own HVAC company and contacting my lawyer), their response was that they were under the impression it was fixed…YOU THOUGHT? Why didn't you confirm with maintenance?. You’d think they’d make cleaning the vents a priority so they don’t get sued especially cause I have a 2 month old baby. So that was one issue. There’s a long list. The other issue was my ice maker machine was broken. The sensor wasn’t working so it kept making ice and overflowing. Every time I opened my freezer, ice would spill everywhere and wake up my baby. This took them 3 different attempts to fix by 3 different people. The water dispenser from the fridge wasn’t working. I bought my own water filter (60$) to try to fix thinking that maybe it was the filter. I didn’t have water for a week and had to get bottled water delivered as it was difficult to go out with a newborn. I was also dehydrated trying to breastfeed a newborn. Maintenance came up when my baby was sleeping to tell me to take everything out of my fridge so they can swap it out. Which I did and it woke up my baby. As they were pulling out the fridge to replace it, they noticed the water line in the back was super kinked so that’s why water wasn’t flowing….So the fridge stayed and I put all the food back in the fridge and that was a complete waste of time! The AC was broken so there were days my apartment was 80-82 degrees. My baby was extremely uncomfortable and sweating and I was afraid he was going to overheat. Maintenance again, on 3 separate occasions tried to fix it. I kept having to put in work orders for that as well. When I told them my apartment was reaching up to 80 degrees cause my windows face the direct sun and it gets hot, their response was “It’s 50s-60s outside"Another problem - the thermostat was LOCKED. I have no idea who locked it but I didn’t know the code. The maintenance guy didn’t either so that had to be replaced.I have bills for my old unit and this new unit with prices that are not accurate. I’ve reached out several times and was told they would fix it. It’s still not fixed but I’m getting reminder emails that I have a balance to pay. I’m not reaching out again to try to figure out how to pay them if they can’t do proper math. I’ve emailed 3x with no follow-up or response.Because things weren’t fixed properly the first time, sometimes even 2nd time, I kept having to put in the same work orders. Maintenance had to keep coming in and out, waking up my baby and disrupting my breastfeeding. I am a single mother taking care of a newborn alone. It’s hard as it is without all these problems. No one should have to experience what I did at a place that costs so much. Despite going through all that, they never even offered any compensation.I did my best to be as patient as possible but this is absolutely unacceptable for anyone, let alone a mother with a newborn baby. STAY AWAY!

I have stayed here for 3 years and unfortunately having to move. I want to make sure that even though therr are some bad reviews here that I have enjoyed my stay here. The building has always been well maintained, amenities are amazing from the dog park to the pool and even two story gym. Living on the 4th floor obviously gives a better advantage to noises but I have never had any issues. Alvin in the office has always been extremely helpful when it came to any maintenance needs or even simple questions answered. I would recommend this place for anyone starting to live on their own or even a family moving into the area.

Had it not been for Linda from Eagle management I would not have upgraded my review. She did not ask me to change my review but I think it’s only right for me to change it because she listened to my concerns and took action immediately. She truly went above and beyond and I am truly grateful. To the office staff at Wood-view not Alvin but the other guy you need to be trained on how to handle issues and not just try to brush off an important issue. Use your level 1 listening skills. You outed me and show no effort in trying to understand my concerns.Although the problem is not fully fix my company saw progress. It may not seem big to you but it is actually an issue.

pros:+well-maintained building+modern appliances in the apartments+pool area/barbeque area is good for the summers+fire pits are good for fall/spring+smallish gym area is good for basic workouts+package receiving room+lounge is available to rent for parties/events+bike storage area+friendly front office staffCons:-money-grubbing management (rent hiked by more than 1200 dollars per month. we are told it's market rate adjustment but Deerfield Village Apartments in downtown deerfield has same rent as last year with a much better location in walkable downtown). With the recent housing market correction, there are independent houses in Deerfield which are on rent for hundreds of dollars less than the price they are quoting for a 2 bedroom apartment here. It's just not worth renting an apartment here at these ridiculous rates and their increasing vacancy rate is a sign that they have overpriced their apartments-small sized apartments for the price they are charging-thin walls. talking / music from neighbor's/dogs barking easily audible-poor ceiling insulation. can hear the upstairs apartment-toilet flushing in our living room. our friends had complaints from their downstairs neighbors about their kids jumping too much on the floor-living room does not have big windows which can be opened. overly sensitive smoke alarms which beep all the time due to poor ventilation and open kitchen plan.- master closet is accessible only through the master bathroom so in case one person has occupied the bathroom, the master closet is not accessible.-noise pollution and air pollution from the highway (especially at night)-nothing walkable close-by-visitor parking on 5th floor even for a short duration. visitor parking tickets have to be bought early on an incase you have last minute guests there is nowhere to park as the office is closed.- over-zealous towing company (250 dollars for towing) is quick enough to pick any cars it can. towed cars are taken to some nondescript location in Glenview- dog odor in the hallways which are carpeted and closed. the dog odor never leaves the place and it's being partially masked by air fresheners- garage parking is an additional 75 dollars per car and there is no free parking available- fake positive paid reviews on google by imaginary residents whom we never met or interacted with

I was a resident for the past 3 yrs at Woodview Apartments and just recently moved out. There were some things that I liked about Woodview and some things that I didn't and were unprofessional. I met a lot of nice neighbors which I became as friends later on. The fitness was nice and the pool, besides the jacuzzi which only worked once and I think it was in 2022. The building had a nice party room for events, but I think it was pricey to rent it out, since the rent was high enough. The washer was the worst part while living in the unit. I had maintenance replace it 3 times and they couldn't find an issue, while all my clothes were filled with lint, and always had wrinkles on my clothes.I used to spend so much money buying rollers to clean off lint. The management team didn't communicate very well with tenants and at times couldn't resolve issues either. If you want to break your lease and try to talk to the management (Tabitha) for your options, its very complicated and no responds back from her. Overall the building was nice but too expensive for living in the suburbs.

Woodview was our home for 6 years. I could not have asked for a better experience. My young daughter loved it and the staff made a clear effort to build relationships with not only my husband and I, but my daughter as well.We never had an issue that could not be resolved in a timely manner and Hiro keeps the place sparking clean.Alvin cares for the residents and treated us like family. Thank you, Alvin! We are so grateful for our time at Woodview.

I’ve lived at Woodview Apartments for 3 years and I can say this is one of the best places I’ve stayed. My overall experience was great. The apartments are nice, the amenities like the pool, clubhouse, and fitness rooms are wonderful. The neighbors and their furry friends are friendly. The maintenance always respond in a timely manner. There recently was a switch to new management, but Alvin is still on the team. He is a superstar. He’s made my experience so much better and I appreciate everything.

Management, Alvin, Amanda & Chad (Mr. Maintenance!), have all been very welcoming, friendly and helpful with all aspects of moving-in. The building is gorgeous, appears to be safe & hosts social activities for its tenants which sound fun. Management also appears to be reasonable and flexible, while working within the fluctuating real estate market. The unit I selected is spacious, clean and easily accessible. The community of dogs is breathtaking and I can't wait to be able to jump in the pool!

I would look somewhere else. There was always dog urine on elevators and hallways. The pool was dirty and bbq grills don't work very well. The fire alarms went off twice in less than a month. The thing we liked least about the building was you can hear the neighbors very clearly speaking and the noise in general from neighbors.

I’m a frequent guest to Woodview. A person I’m close to has been living here for many years now so I come several weekends a month. I love this place, but why the 1 star review? The fire alarm goes off randomly. Tonight, it went off FOUR times. It’s probably gone off 5 or 6 times when I’m here mostly on weekends — and from what I hear, it’s gone off many more times than that. I live in a similarly-priced apartment downtown. This has NEVER happened in the city. Residents at Woodview have become so numb to this hardly anyone leaves their units when the alarm goes off. Just a terrible situation. STAY AWAY. Don’t know why anyone would sign up for this.

Quick turn around time for maintenance, (less than 24 hours after request is put in, it’s fixed!) very dog friendly, when I moved in, place was spotless and had brand new carpeting. Aldin who is part of the management team is extremely accommodating and helpful.
