This location is absolutely awful. Anything that needs to be kept frigerated is already spoiled, spoiling or not the most fresh. The times I've gotten things that are good, I have to assume were recently put out. I've had a lot of circumstances where I've had to throw out yogurt, cottage cheese, milk, eggs, chicken and other various produce. I never bother taking it back because I fear of getting a repeat. Their freezer stuff is always freezer burnt too. Something definitely going on with the storage of things here.

The new Aldi is much better compared to the old Aldi. The new Aldi is much bigger much, more spacious, and it appears to have a lot more selection. Even the parking lot is better. The drawback with shopping at Aldi is the check out system. Lines are always very long and the cashiers, though they try to be quick, are not as efficient as other stores. There is also no express lanes. The store is always very crowded. I think this area needs to have at least two Aldi stores to help with the crowdedness of the store.

Discrimination: walked into the store with my husband paid for all items via credit card. Stopped on my way out by the manager and was accused of stealing from a prior visit. We Insisted he had the wrong person. Made it clear we don’t steal. Ask to see footage was denied. He said well I gave you on tape stealing bacon. He kept accusing us as others stared. It was humiliating. Manager went to the back to check footage again and came out to apologize. Apparently all African Americans look similar with Nike and locs. Honestly, I loved this store. But now I see we’re just being watched and accused based on the color of our skin. When will this stuff stop. It was devastating. Received a refund and plan never to shop there again. I’m traumatized. That could have landed us in jail just like so many other innocent people.

Aldi Dekalb cashier acts like you work for them, doesnt treat you like customers.. I was shopping early morning, Taylor just telling me a lot rules like a little kid. I was in hurry for work and no bags and cart shopping. I just need a rescu3 and help a little. The other day, was shopping with just lemon and onion, left my card and have to pay cash. I was in self checkout, and didn't noticed, I left my card, so had to pay cash and self checkout don't accept cash, didn't know that, had to go cashier again, the gentle man told me, he had to cancel it and given me attitude saying gibberish words and saying garbage, just to cancel with your finger.No need an attitude man. He told me, it's in front they don't accept cash, I don't work in aldi everyday and how will I know, I don't get paid self check out. I wonder if the manager is the same, this people forget thier roles.
Yeah, I don't post small stuff but this happen few times now.
