Love this spot! Only thing missing is a restroom! Pet friendly, a cool concrete table tennis table, concrete bag toss tables, benches, pavilion, basketball court, concrete foosball table, long paved walking path around and beyond the playground. A pleasant little park, though the name is poorly chosen. I don't think they're more than a dozen trees there. That said, it's right by the NIU campus, has facilities for sports and picnics and is up against the Kishwaukee River. So there's plenty to enjoy.
