De Kalb Confectionary is a store with a good selection of chocolates, other candy, and hard to find soda pops. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable, generous, helpful, and nice. The product quality is always good, fresh, and outstanding, with specific praise for the chocolate caramels, dark chocolate sea salt caramels, and vanilla dark chocolate buttercreams. Customer service is also outstanding. It is a reason to go into town, with customers reporting fast visits and plans to return.

First time at the confectionary, looking for something for my mom. Everyone there was super generous and helpful! Ended up getting a small assortment.
