This was the best place to eat in the center of the campus until they shut it down. I'm sad they dropped the hammer on it. I loved them paninis. If you want coffee, there's a new Starbucks on the bottom floor of Holmes.

Their chicken Panini's are really amazing.it's the chicken fajita Panini. And I've never had something that was so filling for a reasonable price on campus. That's the first place that has been able to do that for me. And the service is really good and the people are really nice.

Always like visiting NIU and staying in the Holmes center during State Science Fair. Yesterday was like being at home and my nephew is REALLY considering attending there. Thank you. Go Huskies

Tried charging me for water. I feel water is something that is good business provide free to customers especially a business owned by a university where I am a paying student.

They changed the way things operate and as a former employee I am disappointed at the way things work. Their direct manager, Ninette is the sweetest individual in the world and is super passionate and 'patient' with the BS college students have as they show no respect. I've been treated poorly by upper management before and after working there for 3 and a half years, I can say I truly cannot label this place a coffee shop as they take no respect in certain coffee culture and processes. I would give this place somewhere between a Starbucks and a 7/11. I hope they turn this place around. Some of the workers are great, and I made amazing friends and Ninette truly is a sweet heart ( I recommend y'all say hi to her! ) I hope this place makes the come back I deserves. Oh and they espresso's are crap solely because their espresso machine is crap.

Chicago style coffee house in DeKalb. First time there and I loved it! The owner is welcoming and truly knows how coffee works. Try the Barb Wire coffee specialty. One of the best cup of Joe's I have ever tasted. Best cafe in DeKalb!
