It is absolutely ridiculous that you charge $15 to ship a gift card. Every other place sends a code for free and it is instant. There is no way to justify charging that to send something that costs less than $1 to ship. Pure greed. Unreal. I will be sure to pass the information to the person who the gift card is going to. Ill tell him to stick with Ames. I was hesitant when reading your reviews, I just didn't think I would see it so quickly.

Always have the small hard to find parts for my 69 gto, producing some of the grill parts just like the factory with separate chrome trim, not just the chromed plastic like other places. Shipping is always fast or on time.

No company gets it right 100% the first time every time... but every company has the chance to make it right 100% of the time. Placed my first order with Parts Place excited for my restoration project. Upon arrival an item was broken in packaging. A simple email to sales and a couple of photos, the item was replaced with direct shipping from the manufacturer due to low inventory at the warehouse. How easy and great was that? Everything else bought looks great and was as listed. Excited for my restoration project on a 76 Camaro and happy to keep Parts Place as a vendor for me. Thanks again for the amazing post sales support and keeping me 100% satisfied with my purchases. Here's to a longer partnership through the process.

Absolute worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. If you have a defective part, and it’s more that 30 days since you got it, you may as well toss it in the trash because they don’t give a damn. Biggest bunch of jerk wads I’ve ever dealt with. Spend your money elsewhere

After ordering $4,918.01 worth of parts from The Parts Place in the last 12 months plus whatever I’ve ordered from them in the last decade they sent me two “blue” armrests for a GTO. We let them know they sent a mismatched pair and asked for a matched pair. They informed us all the inventory was the same mismatch. We asked for a credit on just one which cost about $30.00 and we were told “no” but along with that we were given plenty of attitude from the customer service member and their manager as well. They said “Just take it out is the box and paint it. What’s that take like 10 seconds”. The manager told us “Why are you putting so much time into arguing with us, you could have had it painted by now”. $30 dollars isn’t a deal breaker but the attitude received is.

Couldn't be happier with the service and parts I received. I have never used this place before and after reading the negative reviews was a little dubious however the whole experience was 5 stars throughout with special thanks to Dan for altering a detail on my address at the 11th hour. Highly recommended!

I ordered a spoiler from the parts place. $270The hardware is separate of course $28I received the order and it doesn’t fit. I leave feedback stating so ! I finally call the phone number and figured out I need a $109 filler plate. And im sure no hardware with it either.He says you left negative feedback and hung up on me. They want $60 to ship back the spoiler and $8 to ship back the hardware. They both came in same box?It was NOT a good experience and so far i spent $300 for nothing. Costed them nothingAnd after several days or week or so when I get whats left of my money back !Thank you John for hanging up on me

A few years ago, I bought a gallon of GM paint. I thought it was odd that I didn't get a shipping price when I checked out, and kept my fingers crossed that it wasn't going to be a fortune, but it came out to be very reasonable.Fast-forward to recent times: I wanted to get a bunch of bulky sheet metal parts. Doing my research I found that OPGI had the best prices and had 1 exclusive part no one else had, so I went to order and BOOM! The freight was almost the same price as the parts! What the frick. I remembered my experience with Parts Place and even though the part prices were slightly higher, and I mean barely 2%, after you calculate freight, I saved almost $800 over the other jokers.Everything shipped quickly and came as expected.I incorrectly ordered a part. They took the return, and credited my credit card 3 hours after the tracking showed delivered. The replacement part arrived the day before my return even got to them! Their shipping department and customer service are great. I will go here first from now on for any future parts orders.Thanks, team!

BEWARE ! return "policy" BS if you get a defective part this outfit demands that YOU pay to ship the defect back to them so they can then send it to the manufacturer to determine a replacement or refund, all the while your project is dead in the water... and that is after waiting for months for the product in the first place due to backorder/ out of stock- though they took your money... the place is horrible to try to get any actions, updates, tracking etc.....if you enjoy frustration , money tied up with no information, projects on eternal hold this is your store!!! good luck you have been warned!

Horrible customer service. Gave me incorrect parts. They stated exact fit- was sent universal fit and was gonna requires Weeks of modifications to make it work. They tell you it is a perfect fit over email and send you something else. Then they don't respond for 2 months letting their return policy lapse. This is a shady place - no wonder noone wants to claim this business on yelp! They know their customer service is horrible.

DO Not Purchase These any Hoods from this company. I ordered a hood for my 71 cutlass supreme and the hood does not fit on my car at all. It’s very lumpy and has bumps and it’s worlpd all around the hood. The Parts Place manager told me to send pics and that they would return it. I received a email saying this❌❌ I won’t my money BACK!! The Better Business Bureau (BBB) and making a complaint if the don’t let me return there hood and Yelp.We have reviewed your request, unfortunately it is a fiberglass part and requires work to fit to the vehicle. Please refer to our imperfection policy below.Imperfections:In regards to fiber glass panels:Fiber glass panels are inspected and cautiously packaged to protect against damage that may occur during shipment. However, fiber glass panels may have chips, gouges, waves, cracks or other minor imperfections which are considered normal characteristics due to the production and shipping of these parts. These minor imperfections are simply corrected during the filling, priming and sanding phases of your fiber glass installation. We do not consider chips, gouges, waves, cracks or other minor imperfections on the fiber glass to be defects in the panel nor are they considered damaged. I ordered a battery tray at the parts place for my 75 chevy from germany because my tray was totally rusted. I got the most informations over e mail in a friendly way. They don't stand behind their parts. Customer is expected to pay return shipping and shipping on the replacement for defective parts. I understand if I am returning a part that I no longer want or need. What I am refering to is to be made whole for a DEFECTIVE part.Part # 134 washer pump assembly would not shut off and pumped fluid all the time.
