Before our house, my big pitbull was living on the street...no idea how long. Boss came to us with many issues that ( even being a seasoned dog owner) I needed help with. I am greatfull to have found Colton! He comes to our home and is kind and comanding to Boss..who totally loves him and is soaking the training in. We have work ahead for sure! .Colton, however, has given us tools and support to help us be better dog parents to a dog that needs

If I could give Colton more than 5 stars I would! He is an amazing dog trainer and truly cares about his clients and their pets. He was flexible with my schedule and genuinely cared about making sure my puppy was learning and recalling. His natural talent is unmatched. Highly recommend using Colton Brooks Training. The world needs more people like Colton!
I went in with these problems and one week later left with either a problem that has been resolved or understanding of how to stop each behavior.

I cannot say enough good things about Colton Brooks Dog Training! We are long time dog owners and have had our current rescue for four years. We’ve had problems with reactivity and recall and thought we tried everything but had little to no success. We reached out to Colton for private lessons and after the first session we started to see improvements. Colton did a great job teaching us and answering every question we had. He worked with our dog to build trust and determine what was causing the problems. He also taught us how to address the problems and provided the tools we needed. The best part was the private lessons were tailored to what we wanted to work on and what was best for our dog. Training was fun for everyone and allowed our dog to still be himself, just a well-trained more confident version.
If you are considering dog training this is who you want to work with! I highly recommend Colton Brooks Dog Training to anyone with a dog.

Colton is exceptionally talented. We reached out for our puppy (Golden Irish) who was resource guarding since she was 10 weeks old. At first we wanted her sent for “board and train” because we were exhausted. Colton came in for a house call and quickly knew the problem was inside our home. We went with his suggestion and did a two week at home boot camp. He was able to desensitize her and gave us prompts on how to move forward without being bitten or the situation escalating. Little did we know she had zero self esteem and felt like she had to fight for everything. He’s a true behavioralist for recognizing this attribute we didn’t even realize.
We also had our two year old (same breed, Non- Amish puppy mill) dog go through training as well.
Colton has a calm demeanor that brings peace to the whole household (we have young boys, ha!) I’m telling you, he walks into our home and he exudes boundaries and attention. Both dogs are responding to what we have learned thanks to Colton!

We are having the best results with Colton's training! As long time dog owners who are able to train the very malleable puppy, we hit a wall with our newly adopted 5 yr old rescue lab Emme. We tried to overcome the previous bad habits of her pulling while leash walking, ignoring our calls to come in from the back yard and aggression toward other dogs, but it seemed impossible...Now we are happy to report she has improved on all 3 of these issues after just 2 meetings with Colton! His understanding and confidence with dogs in general is incredible and we look forward to a few more sessions to polish up and complete our goals set for Emme. We highly recommend Colton Brooks Dog Training!

I've been boarding my dogs at Brooks Canine Center for almost 7 years and both my pups love it there. Deacon is a bit quirky and they get him....he always has glowing reviews and when he gets home, he's pooped! The staff at Brooks have become like family!!

I can’t say enough good things about Brooks! Brittany is amazing, she sent pictures of our dog while we were away and was in constant communication throughout our trip. It was such a great feeling to know that he was taken care of!

I love this place mainly because every time my dog comes from there, he smells amazing. My dog is rocky and we have been taking him here for at least over a year now I’m pretty sure and it seems really nice there. Whenever I tag along to come pick him up, he smells fresh, the lady who takes him to the car is nice and it seems like Rocky has friends there. I trHe’s ed getting a decent picture of him but he’s too excited to see us.

My dog stayed with Brooks while we were on vacation for a few days. It was his first time being boarded, so I was very nervous, but I can't say enough great things about Brooks!I was hesitant when I dropped my dog off, but they came out and took him and he went with them happily. The staff member answered all my questions thoroughly.I often asked for pictures while I was away, and Brittany was so wonderful to send some great shots of my dog playing and making friends. She assured me that he was doing great, which really helped me enjoy my time away!We'll definitely be using the next time we're away.
