Visit on 12/03/2025 I had a wonderful experience at Dollar Tree thanks to the outstanding customer service from Danny. He is truly amazing—professional, patient, and always willing to help. Danny goes above and beyond to assist customers and makes sure everyone leaves satisfied. His positive attitude and dedication make a big difference. Dollar Tree is lucky to have such an upstanding employee!

I was driving by on my way to visit a friend in Mt Prospect and decided to stop in this DT store. It was well organized, clean and had lots of cute Fall & Halloween decorations. The only negative is this DT store doesn't have a self checkout like the DT store I go to regularly. I like that I don't have to pay for a bag (in Chicago one pays a fee for a bag). I always have MY OWN bags in my vehicle. The cashier was pleasantly nice, personable and friendly. Prices are from $1.25 to $5 or $6 for various products. The store has a new manager who is professional and respectful to all customers which I appreciated.

You should never shop at this store, I was told I shouldn't be shopping on weekdays between 8 and 4, I should be at work and if I'm retired I should be retired at home. I disregarded thinking he's a disgruntled employee, went to the register to pay, I asked for the manager, to my surprise that was the manager telling me all that, so I left the merchandise and left. I would give this place a zero star if I could.

Today i was trying to buy something and walked next to a cart and a employee that was just putting something in the shelves , after he moved i thought he made me space to pass and walked then he turns towards me and say : dude go from the other side, i said ok . But this employee ( male wearing glasses ) start murmuring in a very rude way and then after murmuring tell me again safety first . I said i thought it is ok to walk since you moved and no sign that the isle was closed i didnt think its dangerous . Than he got angry for no reason and tells me oh you own this place ? I said no you own it ? He said yes i run this place im the manager ok i want to work like this . Ok i said im not buying here since im not welcomed !
Im going in another dollar store murmuring to costumers like that it is very ugly !!
