11.20.2024 I was offered to exchange my security credit card for a regular one. I asked if my credit score would drop, the bank employee reassured me that everything would be fine and I would only lose 3-4 pts and then everything would be restored. Now I find out that the bank employee completely closed my account and made me a new credit card. Now my credit score has dropped by 80 pts. I have lost a whole year of my credit history. When I repeatedly contacted the Bank: "Why did you close my account? Return my account" they simply told me: "Don't worry, in 2 months, everything will be restored." But who will return a whole year of my credit history to me? If you want to start building your credit history, I do not advise you to contact this Bank, contact other Banks.

I can walk to this location but chose to go to Elmhurst rd location instead as the 2 guys there(manager and employee) have no clue. Need more training and fast. Also manager has bad attitude when you question what he is doing. Customer service sucks here when depositing an out of state check. These guys have no idea. Go elsewhere. Elmhurst location way more professional. Easy to deal

worst bank ever holding my pmi hostage while keep trying me to spend money on appraisals which i did and they still wont remove it they bought my mortgage from my lender and im sorry they did they are the worst and basic criminals in suits

Shady business ethics. Ever since Fifth third took over MB financial, have nothing good to say. From battling bank card issues in the beginning, to constant account fees that i never had before on either accounts, through 20 years of banking with Corus, then to MB. They claim free checking accounts, but not really free when they hit you with a monthly service charge for not playing their game. Online account fails to update pending transactions, or sometimes a transaction in general, then show the following day that they went through, so you have no time or knowledge to correct the balance, generating fees. On top of that, had multiple items post after normal hours, incurring multiple fees, one per item. The excuse is the system updates in the middle of the night, or that the transactions come through after the business day, so don't update online for that day. Yet they are happy to get those fees the next day from not updating your account. Have called into Fifth Third with problems more then i have called in the 20 years prior.
