Pharmacy sucks- they answer tell you wait then never come back to the phone

I had a script sent into pharmacy at 4:15pm. Nobody filled it. I tried calling for over 45 mins, phone continuously rings and NOBODY picks up. I never got my script now today. Terrible service Walgreens Pharmacy.

This is the worst walgreens I have ever seen no proper response from the pharmacist they are too rude and hang the phone still we are talking about medicine they hang the phone with out listening and they make us waik for 20 minutes on call and hang the phone I really want to meet the owner of this walgreens it's too much now .we need the medicine urgently and they don't show up.

This store's customer service is steadily going down. No wonder Walgreens is closing stores. Their pharmacy is understaffed. I used to be able to pick up my monthly meds at once. Maximum 2 visits a month. Now due to their ineptitude all my meds are out of sync and I have to go to 2 different locations for same meds, multiple times monthly. You get texts that your meds are ready, but they're not. I've literally waited an extra day or two to avoid longer waits. Only to watch the cashier go over to pharmacists and they fill it visibly on the mirrors. Or they tell you to wait. The pharmacist will walk away from a line 10 people deep to service the "clinic". Progressively getting worse. I'm switching to mail order service because the staff has gotten grossly inept.

Store closed 1 hour early! Very disappointed, store hours say that it closes at midnight and it was closed at 11. Waited outside by the door as the employee saw me and ignored me. Other customers were also trying to go to the store and were confused that it was already closed. What if I needed something important and this was the only store to go to ?!

They put you on hold for over 20 minutes and hangs up on you. I tried calling back multiple times and each time I was on hold for over 22 minutes and no one came on the line, I hanged up and called back an hour later and currently on hold for 18 minutes. This is so frustrating, I need my prescription. It shouldn't be this hard to get a hold of someon so you can fill your prescription.

The pharmacy here is so slow. They genuinely have no urgency to help the LONG line of customers. It’s extremely frustrating that it takes 30+ minutes to pick up a ready RX. Better off going to a different pharmacy in des plaines.

If I could give the pharmacy alone no stars I would the pharmacy manager is rude withholds medication lies about not having scripts overall gives you a hard time. Elizabeth has no bedside manner she only wants to argue with you and treat you like a drug addict because you need a script filled that happens to be controlled. I called today was put on hold 6 times by the pharmacy then told she wouldn’t fill it because it’s a controlled and I couldn’t have my cough syrup until it’s 30 days and I informed her as I have in the past I have bronchitis and when the weather gets bad my bronchitis starts up causing extreme coughing and I’ve broken a rib because of it previously. She is the reason I transferred all my medications out of Walgreens on Oakton because of her attitude and lack of people skills. I’ve previously spoken to the store manager and assistant store manager Ramina and Monty they’re fantastic and helpful and this is not the first occurrence with issues at this pharmacy it’s really not funny when a patient has severe medical issues and a pharmacist who wants to act like a doctor withholds it. If you wanted to be a doctor you should’ve gone the extra 2-4 years I personally know how to dispense and handle medication as I was once a tech for Walgreens and I’ve never experienced shut bad customer service in my life. Elizabeth is the absolute worst pharmacist I have ever come in contact with and I never will again. She needs to be reprimanded for how she treats people because it’s truly not right nor ethical the way she treats people and how easily she lies.

Good selections, pretty clean location. Friendly staff. Busy Rx but always friendly and efficient. This place gets a bad rep but I have never had an issue. I have long waits at the pharmacy but they always treat me with respect, take their time, get it right, and I leave on a good note!

The retail and pharmacy staff are friendly and accommodating. This location has a very busy pharmacy [I feel bad watching others in line moan and gripe] but I am treated nicely every time and get all my questions answered. If there is a long line and phones ringing, the Rx staff still keeps their cool while patrons are huffing and puffing. Every patient needs what they need and for it to be CORRECT! The Rx staff makes that happen while short-handed or dealing with slow computers. Upper Management needs to lend them a hand with making things MORE efficient for their staff because they ARE doing their BEST with what they've got!

This is worst walgreens in this area. 9 out of 10 times when I go there, there's only one cashier and absolutely no one in the pickup/photo counter or anywhere else in the store. Usually have to wait forever to pickup. Not sure what are all the other staffs are doing on their staff room. All the other Walgreens I have been to have plenty of staffs available for help or would at least have a call button on the pickup counter.
