“This is my second time ordering from Whittingham. I live down in St. Petersburg, Florida and love tenderloin tails, which are difficult to find locally. The tails I receive from Whittingham are absolutely delicious while the price is remarkable and very fair. The customer service people are the best in the business. Polite, helpful and cheerful!!! Dang! You don't get to type that everyday. Just received a new box and it made me hungry unpacking it!!!! I highly recommend this family owned business. They are the best.”

“This is a great convenience store for people living in the Avalon Park Community. They have a lot of seasonal foods that is enjoyable. The workplace atmosphere is social, alarming, and jokingly sweet. Do not spend too much there at Food Town because the photos show that there is a family that needs the seasonal foods and treats too; also, the local advertisements that Food Town market will bring you to another place just as great as Food Town. “It’s good meat market. I can usually always find what I’m looking for. Rather be ribeye steaks oxtails or spare ribs. This is my go to local meet place. I will say my only real criticism. It seems like a lot of the freezer space and shelf space seems to be empty these days I hope it’s not a bad omen .”
“Mannnn….no se por donde empezar. This place has Been here for a while and I can see why! They carnitas are amazing! Not greasy or fatty like other places. Everyone there is extremely nice…from the carnicero, to the lady stocking the shelves, to the cashier. It’s a small family business but you can tell they care. Everything is organized and it feels good to spend your money here.I always stop by when I’m in the area!”
“I shop here all the time great meat great prices love the service ( always ask for the meat manager he’s the guy with glasses, lip piercing) he even shares recipes. Great cashiers always friendly!!!!!
The only negative I have to say is the way employees get treated I was there on several occasions and a polish old man was telling an employee he was worth less than the bottom of his shoes and recently I was there by the milk and heard when someone was screaming that they were a bunch of idiots and just cursing bad at them. sad that hard working employees get treated that way.”
“This place is a hidden gem its a store l, but in the back u have a restaurant. If you love Menudo or posole. Tacos are delicious too and they have carnitas.. and i had shots of tequila too!!”

“My first time here, and I learnt that it was under new ownership. Very clean fresh food, fresh everything. Very professional and courteous employees. Delicious hot food Bar. The food was scrumptious. I definitely look forward to shopping at Dixmoor Market More often. I give a big A+ to this market.”
