Do not go to Midas in Dixon -- they messed up my brakes and didn't want to fix them. I've been taking my vehicle to Pat since 2011. He has an excellent mechanic named Jenz. Many mechanics turned down fixing my suspension on my older vehicle and told me to take it to Pat because he has the expertise. Jenz did an excellent job on my shocks that many in town turned down 👍

If I could give 10 stars I would!! Had some tire issues on the highway, Pulled into Dixon as it was the closest city/town to us. A quick google search and Anything Automotive was the only place open! Jenz helped me with advice to find a tire and put it on for a beyond fair price! While he worked on my tire he gave me advice and provided resources to help me get what I needed for a bent rim! Service was so good I would definitely consider driving a hour from my hometown for any car service I need.

told me and another woman to bring in our cars at 3pm on Friday, we both showed up at 3pm and the door was locked. called twice, no response. eventually found the "text for appt" number on the website and texted. got a reply saying they'd "be there in 30 minutes" and he showed up at 4:15. other woman was frustrated and left to go to another shop instead. no apology from him for being over an hour late, was condescending when i asked a clarifying question and ignored me when i asked why nobody was there when i was told to arrive.
some guys were inside when the owner (?) finally showed up and let me in at 4:15 (presumably got there before the owner did), but i have no idea why they wouldn't answer the phone or door knocking when they told me to arrive at 3:00.
they got the job done at a reasonable enough speed and price, but pretty bad customer service. hours posted on their website don't seem to be accurate either.

They lost the only key to my car and are refusing to pay a locksmith to replace it.Pat claims that he can't find it because I can't describe or identify the man who took it almost 3 weeks ago. That's a problem for him to solve due to lax procedure and no documentation.I am a severely disabled woman and I need my car.Well, I can't reply to his reply, but his staff ADMITTED to losing the only key.It was dropped off on August 15th between 930 and 10 am.I will be suing in small claims court , starting with $6,500 for the loss of the value of the vehicle and loss of use.Fuuuuck you , Pat Chamberlain.

They lost the only key to my Acura MDX and are refusing to pay a locksmith or replace the ignition to address the issue. I plan to file a small claims case as soon as possible, seeking approximately $4,000 for the value of the car and money invested into it, plus compensation for the loss of use as I am a severely disabled woman. The key was dropped off on August 15th between 9:30 and 10 AM. They admitted having lost the key a few days later, affecting when they could tow it from the shop near where it died. They eventually did tow it as it could shift into neutral and I'd been calling for estimates and getting stonewalled by them wanting to know with whom I left the key or a description of the employee. They don't give their names or wear name badges and I am an autistic woman with neurological impairments meaning I cannot recall names and match with faces until I'm well-acquainted with someone. They also overcharged me $200 on a prior repair by placing an estimated amount in a service charge column and I was initially willing to use that credit balance on subsequent work, but that is no longer possible.

My cars alternator went out on 88 just outside of Dixon. I had my three kids in the van. The worst time to breakdown. No tow companies were answering. There guy Jens pulls up and asks if I need a tow. Not only did they tow me. They fit me in their schedule and put on a new alternator. My pulley tensioner was bad. They did that too.

I had a flat tire around 8pm. They were able to tow and patch up the tire. Super nice and the total cost was cheap. Would highly recommend.
