Austin Sheffield is freaking awesome! He has helped me with my last 2 cars, he has met all my needs both times when my financial situation was good and also at a different point in time when it wasn’t and this means the most out of it all! He is professional, caring, knowledgeable, patient, funny, and if he can deal with me then he definitely is Amazing. I can be indecisive and a handful sometimes and he’s been the best! He will take care of you and so will Ken Nelson!

Austin was so amazing as a salesman in my purchase of a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado LTZ. I was starving and ready to run out on him waiting on financing and he bought me doordash McDonalds while I was waiting. I have been to many service dealerships, but this one by far is the best I've been to, ever! The service man had taken the time to first talk to us on the phone and answer the many questions that we had. My husband and I decided to take our Buick Enclave there for some service work even though we were 1 hour away. When we arrived they were all very kind and took the time to explain everything to us. Great job, I will continue to take my repairs to them

My experience at Ken Nelson could not have been better. Long story short, my car broke down in the middle of I-88 while I was on a cross country road trip back home to NY and there were no car rentals within half hour & we had a schedule to keep. We reached out to Austin over at Ken Nelson and he could not have been more helpful. I went in first thing in the morning, and he managed to get me walking out the door with my new car in 2 hours. This was my first time buying a car, and I do not have much knowledge in the area of cars, and I was in an unknown area. I have heard some horror stories about first time buyers being taken advantage of. Austin was more than helpful and patient with all of my questions and made the process very transparent. This whole experience was definitely a blessing in disguise because I do not think I would have gotten such a smooth and stress-free experience back home. I would, quite honestly, drive halfway across the country again to purchase another vehicle from them. Austin was more than accomodating and got me set up with an incredible car! 100/10 experience! Thank you again Austin and all of Ken Nelson!!!

I was driving from Milwaukee into the Quad Cities to pick up my kids from a weekend away with relatives. My Tahoe has just been serviced a couple of weeks prior and is well cared for. I never have issues with it. I was an hour away from where I was going when my check engine light came on. I was close to Dixon and as I was exiting the freeway to Ken Nelson Chevrolet, I wasn't sure my car would make it.When I arrived and explained what was going on, I was cared for right away. Morgan in the service department had the team take my vehicle in and diagnose the problem. While the expense and issue were minor, I wouldn't have been able to drive back home without having the repair done. It was about an hour and a half from the time I arrived there to the time they had it fixed and my kids and I were on our way back home.I'm so grateful to Morgan and the team. The customer service we experienced there was superb.

I went into the service department to ask for help with a noise my truck was making. They said "Oh, it's this much for a diagnosis". So I pay that. I sit in the waiting room for close to two hours and then the girl comes out and says I'm ready. So I go talk to her and she explains where my truck is making the noise from and that they temporarily sprayed foam in the area and it would be noticeable quieter. She then mentioned that to properly fix the noise, the service department would need to remove the topper off the bed of my truck. It would be an all day job. She quoted me at $950.00. I laughed and said have a nice day. I get in my truck and leave and immediately notice that my truck is making the same sound, tone and everything. No foam was ever used...Well, long story short, I go to the local body shop and asked them to take a look and see if they can diagnose this noise and fix it. I dropped my truck at 8 am and got a call at 10 am that my truck was fixed.. total cost. $20.00. So my questions now are, Who they F does Ken Nelson think they are? What kind of shady operations are they running out at that location. Who else is getting taken advantage of?

I’m a first time buyer from a dealership and I’m so happy I chose Ken Nelson Auto Group! Austin was kind and courteous and talked me through everything. He even purchased snacks for the kids we had in tow, and my daughter was very pleased to leave with a little Carfax Fox. It’s the little the things! I also felt like I was in good hands with Clayton in the financing department, he was very personable and happy to answer questions. Thank you!!

So glad I didn’t go to this dealership. Talked with someone named Jamie through txt and email and he was INCREDIBLY RUDE & VERY pushy! I definitely know where I will NEVER be shopping for a car. Nor will I EVER recommend anyone to go there with how rude and unprofessional he was. Absolutely TERRIBLE SERVICE! not sure how he is even still working there with how judgmental and disrespectful he was towards me. I’m sure I’m not the only one either. Sad all they care about is sales and numbers that they go and treat there possible customers the way they do.

I had the best experience working with Kobe St. Pier, he recently helped get me a good deal on my trade in so I could get my first SUV which I have been wanting for awhile! He was very honest and had great info/pros and cons of all the vehicles I was looking at. Which made it very easy to weed out the ones that were not for me and helped me pick the one that was! He even helped me out with my son while I was signing papers! Thank you for all your help!

This is the third car I have bought here. Austin went out of his way to show me many options. He text me to follow up, check in, and even met me half way to test drive when I didn’t have time to make it to Dixon. He has a great personality. Most sales men are obnoxious. Austin had a more laid back, calm demeanor about him that I apprenticed. Made me feel comfortable. Brett is always amazing. I always feel comfortable with him. I think people forget how anxiety inducing buying a car can be, and Brett calms my nerves. I will continue to come back.

He seemed frank and forthcoming, shared my favorable attitude towards Toyota vehicles, and corrected my misunderstandings in a pleasant and helpful manner.
