Two star is for the call-in appointment scheduling. GMap stated the shop is open on Sunday. Official website stated the same. Called and CarX call center scheduled a same day appointment. Shop is closed upon arrival.

I went to have an oil change and a free tire rotation w a Groupon. Also, I wanted them to check the noice that was coming from my rear tire on the driver side. They said I needed shocks ,all 4. I just replaced the rear shocks. So before I left they said that noise from the tire should go away, by the way the tire had some uneven tread on the outer side.
So now here is July the noice has gotten loader. I took it back yesterday. He tells me that I needed bushels because of the worn shocks that I had before. So now, I said why wasn't this said before if the noise is coming from the bushels that was caused from the bad shocks then he should have said that at first, he never said I had bad bushels, only bad shocks. I asked the guy that was their yesterday why he didn't say this the first time, that was the reason the noice was coming from the tire. He said he didn't know.
I feel like the guy from when I took it there in April purposely didn't tell me about the bushels knowing that I was going to have the same issue, I feel like the bushels are more important to fix first than shocks. I don't liked to be tricked like that just because I am a woman, my ex boyfriend was a mechanic and he taught me everything about my car and noticed. I haven't had a used car in years but I had to buy a bigger vehicle because the other SUV was too small.
I am not happy with being tricked into getting service done to get more service. I wouldn't trust these people with my SUV again. Will call there corporate office and report this to the Attorney Generals office. That phone number is not the right phone number. That is some automated response from the owner. That is how they treat you was false information.

Recently had a tire with a slow leak. Went here on a weekday morning and it was taken care of very quickly. Management and staff here are very friendly. Glad to have a trustworthy business near home that I can rely on when something urgent pops up.

Another great Car-X location. Took my girlfriends car on a Saturday morning and the car was fixed by the same day! Was thinking no way they would fit us in during a heat wave. Thankful just added some more coolant and AC is ice cold again! Great people friendly would highly recommend.

I explained over the phone what type of car I have and told them that I am due to change the transmission oil. They tell me to come in at 5:00 and they'll get it done. They put the car on the lift about 15 minutes after 5:00 and then after another 15 minutes they come and tell me that they don't work on CVT transmissions. My car model has only ever had CVT transmission since it was introduced in the United States in 2000. The guy at the service desk went on to tell me that some models of my car have a non-CVT. I would not trust this place to vacuum out my car let alone touch anything mechanical.

Just over a month ago I had gone to this shop with my wife to get her oil changed and they recommend that the rotors and tires get replaced. I figured it would be a good time to get it time so we went ahead and decided to accept them getting the job done. At first we felt a little concerned that the car make some squeaky noise and scrapes but we were reassured the same day before leaving that that is normal. I had doubts so we took it to another job a few days later to get the car inspected and they found something that I wish not even on my worse enemy would have there wife deal with. They installed the wrong rotors in the front of the vehicle on the passenger side. Idk how you manager to do that but they did manage it. This could have caused break failure and possibly could have caused an accident that I would not be able to live with. I had gone to the location on multiple occasions to confront them on the issue and even requested a refund on that service along with a reimbursement of the other shop having to correct there mistake and they have just continued to wave me off and ignore my emails. I have even gone in person and they still have not processed any refund and refuse to reimburse me for the other shops job of having to fix the vehicle.

Don't waste your time , manger leaves mechanic to watch the front desk and he doesn't know how to work the desktop so I wait , after 20 minutes manager comes in, I tell him just need a oil change , he said ok , what's yr make and model, I tell him. He begins to tell me the price and mind you I did this on purpose and waited to present the Groupon for that exact oil and service, he gets an attitude and tells me that , that Groupon doesn't cover the type of oil my vehicle needs , little does he know I work on cars and I am certified. I call him on it to his surprise, he gets all mad and now says we don't except Groupon. Which he did at first and it's also listed on there. So lied and got upset when told the truth and couldn't lie his way out of it. I denied him to even touch my vehicles for the obvious reason and also I did not trust him especially after that with my vehicle. He was dishonest, disrespectful why would I support a business like this. So I left and went to the next one and got great services and they even bashed him and said they get a lot of complaints from that location, makes sense why he was gone and it was empty.

0 Stars. The manager tried to up charge me on everything that wasn't necessary for my vehicle. He said I needed a new battery ASAP. I went to auto zone and found out my battery is perfectly fine. I've been going here for years but with this new manager I'm no coming back to this location or any car-x in general.

Just got denied service for alignment the guy i spoke to tried to make me install all new suspension, seemed like they just didn't want to work on it. Overall bad attitude and professionalism

I’ve gone to this Car X location for a very long time. Probably over 20 years and I have found them very good until this week. I may never go back there again, and I am reaching out to their district manager to talk about what happened. When I came in to get my car after an oil change, they told me that my back brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced. I was shocked because I knew that was not the case. I know cars and I know my car and I told them that I didn’t believe what they said was actually true. They stood by their statement so I took the car to the mechanic I’ve dealt with for 20 years and he looked at the brake pads and laughed and said they’re trying to rip you off. I don’t know if I will ever go back to this Car X, and it makes me sad. Be careful.
PS. They also said my front tires needed to be replaced and that I could get a really good deal from them. My mechanic disagreed with their diagnosis of my front tires as well. Buyer beware.
