I bought a custom cabinet from prairie woodworks. I gave them the measurements we needed to fit under our television and a look we wanted. They worked with me to make sure the size was correct, helped me choose the barn door hardware, and gave me multiple custom colors to choose from to match the colors of our other furniture.We will definitely work with them again. Quality and communication was great!

Brad at Prairie Woodworks helped me with a (not so solid) wood countertop I had ordered from Home Depot. He figure out a way I could salvage the particle board countertop by inlaying a piece of solid wood around the sink hole. He did a fantastic job, it looks amazing! I would not have been able to use this piece if it wasn’t for his expertise and thinking a bit outside the box.Overall, my experience with this business is very positive! The shop is very professional while still maintaining a down to earth and personable environment. Cannot recommend. Decent product, lousy business ethics (and I'm a business-owner myself). At the price-point of custom fine furniture, a customer has a right to expect better service than their 'we have your money, now eff you' attitude... ($600 for four pieces of *scrap* wood, total smaller than a paperback book, to correct an error made by either them or their retail distributor). There are far too many craftspeople who care about customers to work with one who clearly doesn't.

What a wonderful wood working place filled with the sweetest people around, would definitely recommend!! My husband purchased a piece from them for my birthday and the quality is amazing.
