I was a little surprised today when visiting the DuQuoin Ace Hardware. I’ve been to 3 other Aces’ locally and have been offered a military discount… I don’t normally ask for a discount however when offered I of course graciously accept. I took my military ID to this Ace due to the previous visits to others and was told they do not offer the discount. I was a little embarrassed (again… I don’t normally even ask)… and surprised that only this one Ace in our area doesn’t offer it.

Order the space heater online from DuQuoin Ace hardware before this Arctic blast hits, lady called this morning and said that it was an error on Ace hardware site that their store should have been removed because they don't have the staff or the delivery vehicle to deliver items but she said she would have one of her employees when they come in drive to Pinckneyville and deliver my heater. I don't know many companies that would go above and beyond like that. DuQuoin Ace hardware I thank you very much!

Was having a bad day, tire blew outside of town nursed it in to town and still had to walk a mile to get a sledge. Thank goodness for the helpful hardware person. The associates there were so helpful and understanding to my dilemma. Made a bad experience good. Thank you!?

Great place, helpful staff, I come here often for little things with small projects when I dont want to travel back to Carbondale for the day. Love the stores mascot give him a raise!

I wanted to buy one of their beautiful mums and a pumpkin. The girls working there were so sweet to carry out the pumpkin because my hands were full. My experience couldn't have been better. The associates went beyond their duties. Highly recommend
