“Down the Aisle Bridal was truly the most incredible bridal shop and group a ladies in the area.

In October, I flew in from out of state so that I could dress shop with my mom & best friend. Their shop was the very first shop we stopped at & I found my dream dress. Unfortunately, as I’m sure a lot of brides do, I didn’t want to commit to the very first shop and dress that I saw. After a long and exhausting day, I made the WRONG choice and ended up purchasing a dress from a different local bridal shop.

I will spare all details, but it was an absolute nightmare situation and here I am in March, with my wedding day a very short 8 weeks away, with no dress. On a whim and with a lot of hope in our hearts, my mother reached out to Rachel this morning (March 3rd) and asked if she just so happened to still have the dress I fell in love with. Rachel, who is only open by appointment only, ran to her shop, looked in her inventory, and immediately called my mom back. She sold me the dress off the rack, sent me a travel bag, and got it express shipped literally today so that not only do I have my dream dress, but I have it in enough time to get the alterations done.

Above and beyond doesn’t even start to cover it here. I wish I could rewind time and purchase this dress from her in October like I should have. Rachel turned this super stressful situation into something that I will remember forever, and especially on my wedding day.

I cannot recommend her enough. To add another level of sweetness to the whole story —to show our gratitude, my mom added an extra tip for Rachel. However, she let us know that tips are never personally accepted and they instead use that money to donate to Blue Ridge Community Farm - which is a nonprofit in the area.

10/10 Experience on try on day; Rachel and her team were sweet, kind, fun to be around, helpful and made me feel so comfortable. 10/10 experience with this unforeseen sticky situation now too, I can never express how much it meant to me.
