“The best DT in our area. Staff is kind and store is always stocked. When the lines get backed up, cashiers are able to call for another cashier to open. Great job whoever is managing this place.”

The staff doesn't seem motivated to help or go faster when there is a line, and there are only two self-checkouts. I drive from the Grove area to this location just because the overall function of the store is worth it.”

“EVERYTIME I go into this store the personnel is extremely personal! They greet me by name and I send all my friends to this one! I frequent these stores cuz I have a house cleaning business so since they are in every town, I see a lot of them and the service in this one is by far the BEST! They care about us as customers and it feels like home! Ashley and the store manager, Dawn are their “rocks” of this store! When I come in and there is a new employee, they introduce me and my support doggie, I feel important! THANK YOU FOR A WONDERFUL STAFF THAT CARES!!!!”

“This dollar tree is pretty decent. I'm a door tree connoisseur and this is one of the better locations. They are decently stocked everytime I'm in. I'm still a little hurt about dollar tree raising all their prices to $1.25 and that's the only reason for the 4 star rating.”

“Well-stocked Family Dollar store. Very clean. Many items did not have the price marked, but the cashier was more than happy to check the price for me. Lots of cute Halloween and Fall decor. You could easily decorate a dorm or buy the basics for a new apartment here, in one place and for less than you'd spend at Walmart or somewhere similar. Lots of candles at good prices, as well. Great selection of groceries, including a cooler section with cold cuts, milk, cheese, etc. Last but not at all least, be sure to check out the clearance!”

“I'm not Dollar General aficionado or anything, but I've been to enough of them over the years across the states. In my opinion, this is the nicest DG in the St Louis metro.
Don't get me wrong, I realize that ain't saying much. It's still a Dollar General. That said, I always found them to be cleaner and more organized than the chaotic hell that the average DG has become these days with unstocked boxes everywhere, no associates, nothing in stock, and so on.
I always found this location to be reasonably clean, organized, and stocked when I was lucky enough to live nextdoor.
It's still a DG, but it's one of the nicer ones, for sure.”

“It's been a while since I visited this Family Dollar Store. On the afternoon of Sunday, January 28, 2024, I encountered Christine, the friendly employee at the front, along with two other co-workers who were equally pleasant. They were diligently working to organize the store, and it's evident that they've made significant improvements since my last visit during the COVID outbreak. Despite hearing some negative comments about this location, I believe the team is putting in a commendable effort to enhance the store. Conveniently located just a minute away from my home, I plan to return. The store offers great bargains, particularly on pet toys.”

“I continue to be amazed the level of service that Kelly provides. Kelly is one of a kind, And I continue to wait until the afternoons/evening shift so I can make sure he'll be working when I go in, he is usually Way beyond what you would expect an employee at family Dollar would be and I apologize ahead of time if it sounds like I'm being mean or talking down upon family Dollar and please but she is just that good with customer service! You would expect him to be working add a high-end store that sells you is very expensive goods which is a fantastic quality to have I really appreciate him and appreciate and trust his advice as well. Thank you very much Kelly, am I truly hope but someone in the corporate office will be able to see this post and take it to a heart and hopefully they show you some type of gratitude because my friend you deserve it and personally if they don't give you some time of gratitude where you feel like they are aware of how good of an asset that you are to the company! Kelly if they do not show you some type of thank you or even make you aware of the things understand the value you provide that company even if they give you a hundred or two hundred dollars, which out of all honesty that wouldn't even be what you deserve but that would show the third aware of what you are in the thankful that you are the same company and otherwise I would quit because they need to appreciate their employees because there is no its executives and that company that would be paid minimum wage if they didn't have you guys... Come on corporate office show your ground level retail sales associates what they mean to you hopefully this isn't a challenge, but what if it is, then take advantage of it and make an example out of Kelly it makes him feel good and they can feel appreciated for what he does because frankly I think this is not going to go further than this post and all the executives that we'll see it if they even cares it probably or just going to get warm fuzzies while sitting in front of the fireplace with their affluent loved ones, I'm not thinking about one employee after they read this prove me wrong corporate office”

“We needed a few things for our daughter’s 21st birthday (yeah, she’s ALMOST a whole adult ?). The cashier was so nice! And she knows that store layout! Told me exactly where to go with no hesitation and, get this, the things were EXACTLY where she said they would be. ??”
“Outrageous prices! #sarcasm ? Although the price on the plastic bottles/jugs still say $1.25, the price on the shelf sticker and the checkout price has gone up to $1.50 for both laundry detergent & bleach. I’m still not complaining. I’ve been using both products for years.
This location is in generally good condition around opening time at 9:00 a.m. Past that, I can’t comment. If it’s like most other stores, by 5 p.m. – customers have trashed the place. This morning, there was a nice (female) employee who helped me find envelopes I was looking for. It’s also my “go to” store to find Irish Spring soap. Granted, one must pick ‘n choose carefully. Some of the products come from major brand names – others are pure junk. Now that S. Kingshighway has been repaved, it’s not a bone-jarring experience to get to & from this location.”

“This store has made a 360 change since the new area manager started. I used to hate shopping there due to the isles being blocked off with carts unloaded. Every time I looked for something they claimed to be out of it but who would know. The stock was never placed on the shelf. Anitra got transferred in and it is the best store all around. She is personable, smart and runs a fantastic store. She deserves a raise but don’t take her from us!!!!”
