“I didn't feel confident that my important mailing would be taken good care of at a different nearby USPS, so I tried this facility. Although my request wasn't easy, the helpful worker got me taken care of immediately, communicated clearly, and even gently reminded me of a couple things to ensure I didn't forget. Needless to say, I feel much more confident about my important documents getting mailed and returned to me because of the professionalism. Thank you!”

“I had occasion to use the Glen Carbon Illinois Post Office yesterday. I was returning a package to Montana.
The vendor had previously sent me a priority mail label. I had no idea how to package or place the labels on the package. The young lady working the counter assisted me in preparing the package.
Actually she taped up the box and placed the labels in the proper locations. This assistance was an enormous help for me. This was the best experience if had wth usps in years. I have a renewed faith in the usps. Thank You for assisting me.”

“I like this location because its close to my house. However, tell your employee Lori to stop trying to make things difficult. She's always looking for things to give someone a hassel.”

“Went to drop off a package 1/29/24. I’m currently 8months pregnant and had my toddler on one hip and large package in the other arm. The lady working the front desk came around her work station and opened the door for me! Fantastic and quick service. She even offered to print out the receipt and bring it to me. Very helpful and I would go back to this office.”

“Today I had to do a certified mail with Receipt. The woman who greeted me at first glance (seemed stern and wasn't gonna be friendly) then She just whips on this smile that lit up the place. I told her what I needed and in the process a woman in a wheelchair came in with a wheelchair and she had gotten her a Birthday gift. Another woman came in going on about being a grandma finally to a baby girl. She just knew everyone and they all just loved her. She was not your tipicle stamp, press, NEXT.....Always be the rainbow in someone's dark clouds..More people like you need to be in the world.”

“Richard, Pam, Marcus and others are fantastic. Sorry, but Im bad on names, would ment others if I could remember names. We have used this branch for our P.O. Box and local delivery for over 14 years. Although we have had major issues lately with an address change. These issues are due to the system over all.*** Richard just spent over 40 minutes on the phone trying to solve our forwarding mail issues.***Marcus has been a great local carrier and Pam is always very nice and helpful. Others have done a great job as well. The post office as a whole has had issues over the past 4 years, but these people have been outstanding. Give them a break when you see them, the job is NOT easy.I spent several years as a subcontractor for USPS, it's not easy keeping people happy. If you ship packages with FedX chances are you'll have problems compared to USPS. UPS is pretty good though, but not up to the quality of service as the USPS.Thank you for all your service!!! Cheryl and I really appreciate it!”

“The Associate who attended to me went above and beyond to help me get the best and cheapest mailing option to send a package to my nephew in the U.K. She explored different mailing methods and found that sending it as a Priority Mail - Flat Rate envelope was the best way to go. This proved to be much cheaper than sending it using my own box. She even gave me extra envelopes to take home for future use. I don't remember her name, but she is highly worthy of commendation!”
