I had to go into the AT&T store yesterday for a problem I had with my payment going through. I was happy to see that Ronaldo was working. He assisted me and I was on my way in just a few minutes. He has assisted me two other times in the past few months and is so genuinely kind and helpful. He is a great person and very patient and knowledgeable.

Incredibly rude service. I understand that not every day can be a five star day but they can’t even muster a hello when you enter or to be vaguely polite when you talk to them. They just seem irritated that you’re even there. I think I’ll make the drive into Peoria the next time I need to go in.

My family and I have been to this store totaling four times. The first time we were there the gentlemen who I would guess to be in his late 20’s early 30’s was very nice and helpful. The last three times we were down there the younger guys helping us were completely disrespectful unwilling to do their job and quite frankly if they worked for me they would no longer have a job. This last younger guy with curly hair we just dealt with at about 11:20am on 7/17/24 was one of the most unhelpful useless customer service person I have ever met and that is no exaggeration. Apparently the zoom call he was on was more important than helping a customer. Also try and look at someone’s account instead of saying go to Best Buy, when we have insurance and the phone is under warranty both you would have noticed had you not been a snob. I will never go back to this store and would not recommend anyone too. 3 out of 4 are not good odds. Hire people who can at least pretend to care and are capable of handling some sort of customer support. I am currently on the phone with corporate filing a complaint against this store. This was bad enough I had to leave or I felt like I was going to say something I shouldn’t. I cannot stand entitled people. He acted like life was given to him on a silver spoon and we were bothering his day.

Honestly there is no need for improvement with Brian and Zach they were awesome dealing with an issue and I ended up getting upsold by their charm and had the guts to switch to an iPhone. So yes their customer service was on peak!

They added a protection plan to my account without asking me. Found out 2 months later and had the charges reversed. Check your receipts and don’t trust them one bit

If it was possible to give less than 1 star, I would. I am a firefighter and EMT and was told that the First net program by ATT would give me better phone service at a better price. While the phone service is good, everything else was a LIE. When I went into the store the manager told me that it would not be a problem moving my phones to ATT from Verizon even though I still was under contract for 2 of the 4 phone. He advised me that my bill would be around 140-150 per month total. he said my first month might be a little higher as it takes a little bit for the discounts etc. to kick in. My first bill was over $800 and I got a bill from Verizon for over $800. when I called the store manager was too busy to take my calls. I finally got a district manager who was able to bring my bill down to just over $400. the second month's bill was $74. so I thought great. it did kind of even out, so no big deal. but here we are at month 3 and my bill is back up to $266. I called and customer support was able to bring it down to $240 after a very lengthy call. I was with Verizon for over $20 years. AT&T made a lot of promises that they did not and apparently cannot keep. if you are looking to get good customer service at a reasonable rate from people you can trust, then look elsewhere. The East Peoria AT&T store cannot be trusted, they do not care about anything after you sign on the dotted line. If I could I would absolutely terminate my contract and go back to Verizon or any other company. Do not make the same mistake I made.
