“Lowe’s gets a solid 4 stars from me. It’s a decent place with a huge selection, so you can usually find what you need, but nothing about it really stands out. The store can feel pretty busy at times, and it’s not always easy to find help right away. Overall, it gets the job done, just not anything amazing or super memorable. Lowe's”

“Eric, the manager of hardware is amazing!! We had the worst experience in the Spfld store and they were NO help. Eric was overly kind and considerate of the situation and did everything he could to help. Backstory: Spfld sold us a broken beyond repair couch and then sold the floor model so no couch for us. Pekin had the same one in stock but no way to get it to Spfld🙄. Corporate wants a WRITtEN letter explaining the situation dropped in the mail, so that letter is getting sent and I would hope they would offer some type of refund for making us drive 4 hrs round trip to pick one up. By the time they get the letter, I’m sure this couch will be all gone! But Eric is amazing, knows his job and was extremely personable! Thank you Eric!! Springfield needs training from Eric on helping people!!”
“It was really very polite employees 3 people help me and order my stuff for me and I will go back there better than Lowe's outdoor carpet been looking for it like 4 years after 2495 that was cheap big old roll I'm very pleased”
“Ken in appliances was a gem. I had called earlier in the day frantic needing a new washer. He knew exactly what they had in stock that we could pick up ourselves this evening. He said he would be there until 5 and ask for anyone else if after 5. I really wanted to deal with Ken bevause he was so amazing on the phone. After my husband got off work we went as fast as we could to Home Depot...getting there 5:00......Ken was actually walking away leaving to go home. This awesome guy remembered talking to me and came back to show me what we talked about. SOLD.. .got the washer home and ready to go by 7:30pm. Thank you Ken.....Home Depot is really lucky to have such an awesome, professional team member.”
“We recently purchased a marble vanity top in Carrera Frost for our bathroom remodel. The initial top we first ordered was made incorrectly so that was kind of a let down but Builders Warehouse reordered it a second time from the manufacturer and it looks beautiful.Nothing but good things to say about Builders Warehouse and if you are like us and want to shop local they are one of the best!”
“Jeremy Schneider at the Peoria Branch worked with my wife and I to come up with a new design for our kitchen. He worked with us for months to revise the design and wound up supplying all of the materials we needed to complete our project. All were on time, undamaged and complete, including new cabinetry, crown molding, tile for the backsplash, hardware and quartz countertops & sink.The project is now complete and we can say we are 100% satisfied with the service KBL and Jeremy have provided for us.”
“I was at Lowe's on 1/28/25 in need of a couple items. I entered and saw no one in line at customer service so I asked the young lady working there, Katie N., for help in locating my two items. She not only located the items on her bar code scanner, she wrote down the aisles they were located in and gave me specific instructions on where to find them.
Katie N. was extremely helpful and Lowe's Peoria is fortunate to have her working for them.”
“We were shopping for a solid side utility trailer. I called ahead to make sure they had one in stock. I spoke to Josh and he was a great help. Said they'd get it all ready to go for us. Told me to be sure to bring a couple of checks, because (in Illinois) we could pay for the trailer with cash or credit, we had to pay the tax & title individually by check. Really appreciated the heads up! Great experience!”

“We purchased a log splitter from Tractor Supply in East Peoria, IL. Lauren and her staff was very nice, professional and knowledgeable about there products. Unlike most stores today they went out of there way to make sure we were 100% satisfied. Definitely 5 stars for this store.”
