Hooked on Fishing Park is a wonderful place for families to relax, connect, and enjoy nature. It is a fantastic nonprofit, free to the public on Sundays, providing all gear and bait. It is a great place to teach kids how to fish with stocked ponds and very helpful staff. The water is shallow by the edge for safety. They host birthday parties and community service for groups. It is a catch and release program where staff celebrate each child's catch, ensuring no child is excluded. The area is better for its presence.
For a nonprofit, they are doing a fantastic job, free to the public on Sunday. With tree gear and bait. Fish were not biting, but still a great time.

This is a great place to teach kids how to fish. They provide everything including stocked ponds. If you get into trouble they are there to help. Very helpful staff with no judgment. It is catch and release. Thought they said it was only open to the public one day, maybe Sundays, a week.

We had a birthday party for our 6 year old and it was great! Kids loved fishing, equipment and bait was all set up when we got there and right by the edge the water is just 1ft deep, nobody had to worry if a kid would fall in.
