I will never purchase anything from Lowes again. We were in their East Peoria store today. There was a Bosch planer on clearance that I've been eyeing for the last 3 weeks or so. It was priced like anything you would expect to find on clearance, reasonably discounted in an effort to sell. Today I finally decided to buy it only to be told at the register that they could not sell it to me due to what the store manager called a buy back (yet they never pulled the item from the shelf). After leaving the store very frustrated, I called Lowe's customer service trying to get some resolution. After speaking with 2 different people, it was very clear their only purpose was to try to get me off the phone. They both said they would make a recommendation that product be pulled from the shelf when something like a buy back takes place, yet never asked for my name or any sort of contact info for follow up. This is a very poor manner of doing business. Although legally within their right to chose not to sell the item to me, they should accept that it was their fault that it was still on the shelf and honor the sale.

The best Lowe's! Come here almost every week with my doggies and my dogs absolutely love people there! Never had issues with returning any items. We ordered 4x4 pallets and cinder block pallets and didn't have any issues with returning bad looking ones. The percentage of bad wood we got was minimal and we are very happy with that. The personnel is absolutely fantastic! Very nice and kind people also very knowledgeable if you have any questions. I still don't understand how this store has such bad reviews. We basically live in this store and haven't had any problems.

Screw it I had 4 orders so I'll leave 4 reviews. I hope the carpet guy in front of me screaming at you gives you nightmares. You're the reason why no one trust Gen Z... you smell propane... and you probably have an OF... go gag yourself on a paint stick. Bubble gum chewing, pop corn smoking, dried out blonde. I will personally purchase you some conditioner to fix that fried hair. - now the issue... during cash out asked for change and the cashier mocked me, rolled her eyes... then ran her mustache wearing mouth... all because you were mad about the last customer. DONT TAKE YOU PROBLEMS OUT ON ME.... Wtf did I do to you... you want a hug? Go find a cactus.... Train wreck personality.... Don't ever procreate... go make some Tik Tok videos and act like people care about you... I hope you community college professor has aids so after graduating you have another issue to deal with... eh blonde so you probably don't get the joke....

Bought a craftsman lawn mower less than a year ago on lowes credit card. Mower won't start, called east peoria store....not helpful at all. Said they can't even tell me when I purchased the mower. Had to call credit card company they were no help. Dont buy the craftsman brand. Quality has decreased significantly. Associate acted like it was an inconvenience to talk or try and help. Shouldn't have to buy A lawn mower every year. From now on I'm going to home depot

Absolutely horrible ! Bought a washer dryer set from this EP location set up delivery then got a call from the bloomington Store that the order was transferred to them for delivery but in fact there was a mistake made and the item isn't in Stock so they had to cancel my order. rather then the money going back on my card i was told I had to go back to the original store EP to get the money back in cash (makes no sense) but I called the EP store to confirm this was correct and was told yep you have to come in for a Point of sale refund in cash even tho it was purchased on a debit card. So .. I drive back to EP store only to be told I had to actually go to the Bloomington store for the refund in cash. I stood there for over an hour for them to look into it and insisted I must go to Bloomington for my money back ... I never ever went to freaking Bloomington ... I purchase from EP used a card why the hell am I now having to drive to Bloomington for a refund ... after being told by 2 diff people to come get my refund in EP. I've now driven Over 2 hours back and forth to EP store for my order to be cancelled and no refund until I drive another hour round trip to Bloomington !!!! Horrible !!!!!!! Will never ever buy from Lowe's !!!!

Kudos to April for helping a beat up old vet sort through and pick out some decent, straight lumber. I've generally found the staff in East Peoria to be knowledgeable and helpful, especially in plumbing and building materials.

I finally got my purchase & am updating from 1 to 2 stars. They even left six pieces of 8' x 8' manufactured rocks that was delivered in errors. So, I paid for 10, and have 16. I asked the Lowe's delivery driver this morning when he brought the correct 10 pieces, to take away the six that I did not buy. He said he wasn't told anything about that. So Joe the manager apparently is letting me have those extra six pieces for free. That of course changes things. It doesn't erase the pervasive incompetence or the lying though. I will still be going to Nena Ace Hardware from here on out.

The manager "Rob" was rude and not helpful I bought some SharkBite plumbing fittings didn't need them they were still in the bag and unopened he said we cannot take them back he was very Point blank not helpful at all I asked why he says it's on your receipt when I asked him to show me where he said right there where it says Lowe's return policy go to the website and you'll see it I had my receipt but because it was 98 days instead of 90 days it was invalid.

Washer/dryer purchased. 3 attempts at hookup and still no results. Call a plumber they said. Installers failed to bring stacking kit and said dryer was electric, not gas. Next installer said it was gas, but could not connect hose. 6 days after moving in, still unable to do laundry. Different installers every time, very sketchy people. Store manager was "on vacation"; assistant manager "busy". HORRIBLE SERVICE.

Do NOT use their curbside pickup. After you check In, they never come out. I called the store from my car, so hey put me on hold and tell me they'll bring my order out ASAP.
