Stopped in for an in-line switch to fix my niece's lamp cord switch and decided to get her some gloves while we were there. She easily found a slim pair of mechanic's gloves that fit her (medium), but the selection of heavier duty gloves was a bit lacking and we had to settle for a pair that was a little bit too big for her (large).

Your Dude Lance has helped me out a few times when I've been in the store and he's been great! He first helped me over at the pro desk and then helped me today in a totally different area of the store. He helped me size my blind, cut it for me and even held up my old one so I could measure it (because I didn't do it before I came to the store).

I was in the store on Saturday morning looking to purchase a new range and refrigerator. Tremonte was so helpful and had the patience of a Saint! He answered all of my questions, and I had many. He took the time to look up accessories for a couple of the ranges I was considering for purchase, and to me, he went the extra mile! Thank you again, Tremonte. I appreciate your help and patience!

Usually it's a very good place, but this day I went to buy a gift and online it said 3 left. The gentleman looked it up and said he had one, he made me wait almost an hour to get it down for me. I'm not sure if he was taking so long thinking I would leave or what, because it was 7:30 am, he was just walking around so it's not like he was busy.

I will never purchase anything from Lowes again. We were in their East Peoria store today. There was a Bosch planer on clearance that I've been eyeing for the last 3 weeks or so. It was priced like anything you would expect to find on clearance, reasonably discounted in an effort to sell. Today I finally decided to buy it only to be told at the register that they could not sell it to me due to what the store manager called a buy back (yet they never pulled the item from the shelf). After leaving the store very frustrated, I called Lowe's customer service trying to get some resolution. After speaking with 2 different people, it was very clear their only purpose was to try to get me off the phone. They both said they would make a recommendation that product be pulled from the shelf when something like a buy back takes place, yet never asked for my name or any sort of contact info for follow up. This is a very poor manner of doing business. Although legally within their right to chose not to sell the item to me, they should accept that it was their fault that it was still on the shelf and honor the sale.

Tried calling to talk to someone to see if they had a certain item I was looking for. First time, after the automated stuff, they picked up and hung up. Called right back, after the automated stuff, they picked up and immediately put me on hold 3 times. Then someone answered and said he was going to get me someone once again, they picked up and put me on hold 4 times. I finally gave up, if the phone service was this awful, I can only imagine how it is in the actual store.

I just used the customer service desk, to order a freezer and fireplace doors. The woman who helped me was so helpful and knowledgeable! Wish I could remember her name, but this was a few weeks ago. The whole process, from ordering to delivery,was so easy and timely.

Awesome service! This place is by far and away the best home improvement store in the area! The people seemed happy to be there and were quite helpful. They had what I needed and One of the employees walked me right to what I needed. Great experience!

Was saddened to see this store eliminated all manned check out stations. They had a half dozen self-check out terminals open being watched by two employees trying to help customers through the process. This is unacceptable and I will avoid this store for my home improvement and maintenance needs.
