GOD BLESS THEM ALL SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT OR WASTE YOUR TIME AND GAS MONEY STACKS ALL FOR THE PRODUCT YOU WANT ISN'T ACTUALLY THERE THEY WILL KINDLY HOLD IT FOR YOU AT THE REGISTER IF YOU ASK THEM TO HOLD IT AND THEY WILL EVEN PUT YOUR NAME ON IT HOW MUCH BETTER THAN THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LOYALTY CAN YOU GET ANYWHERE ELSE NOW A DAY'S O.K. “Just had my second appointment and I can 100% say for as long as we’re living local to this shop, we will always bring our Evie there to get groomed! The employees are so sweet talking and gentle with the pups. Makes it easy to drop her off and no worry in my mind that they’re giving her the best treatment possible. Carlin was our groomer and she does a super great job! I met a few other groomers, and they are all so friendly as well- you really can’t go wrong with any worker there. Great team, great store, great treats! I will refer everyone I know!! Thank you guys!!”
“I always purchase my dog food here, nowhere else sells it and he’s very picky. There is always some kind of sale on or coupons are offered. Staff friendly and helpful.
This time there was a big donation bin into which I put a lot of cat food and cat beds. My lovely cat had just recently crossed rainbow bridge and I had been carrying his stuff around in my car with the intention of dropping off at TAPS. This donation bin saved me a trip and heart ache at seeing the dogs looking hopeful but then sad as I walk away.”

“I'll be back. I'm always worried about groomers after taking my dog somewhere where the lady cut him multiple times and left him terrified. These groomers did such a good job and were very kind and warm. I always appreciate welcoming and nice people. They took great care of my dog during the grooming and gave him a cute little bandana afterwards. I'm very pleased and will be coming back once a month.”

“I very much enjoy my time here and love the room where you can interact with the pets. The animals are well treated and the employees are very nice/helpful. And most importantly the fish live for a good amount of time when you get them in which means they are treated with the proper conditions before being purchased.
One improvement I think would make the experience even more nice is if the spiders were separated from the lizard section so aricniphobic people can look at the lizards and hermit crabs without worrying about the spiders.”

“I love the pet store, stopping at the cat corner to see cats available for adoption. Don't forget the older cats (no kitten phase). The gal working fish helped us find our miniature pleco. I also bought a $4 pair of Christmas pajamas (no feet). Staff was pleasant and very helpful. Mgmt, your site could use a whole building / store exhaust fan. ??”
“They do so much for the animals that others abandon or don't care for. They make sure every animal in the county is up to date on shots and being taken care of PROPERLY. The director is kind and considerate of other people's feelings and situations. Be kind to others and they are kind to you. These bad reviews have back stories that aren't being told to make this shelter look bad when in reality they try their hardest to get the animals they do have into homes. Adopt don't shop.”
“I’m a little late getting this done, but I can’t say enough about TAPS no kill shelter in Pekin the Staff is absolutely incredible. I adopted a dog after having to wait several weeks so I could see her because she was pregnant and had 12 puppies and so I had to wait until afterwards because they were concerned about her health and the puppies health having people come around them so I waited and called every week and they were just absolutely wonderful. Several things came up after after I took her into foster care and they were right there to help me. I have absolutely no complaints. I think the staff is phenomenal when I brought my dog back with me in the car, they were absolutely wonderful. They came out to see her and pet her and tell me how good she looked. Tori was always there when I called and would help me out with different things in the process of fostering her adoption completed and they were 100% supportive all the way from beginning to end.”

“Samm from Bears Bites is amazing! I feel like she cares about the well being of my dogs as much as I do! They love most of her treats and the few items they haven’t loved it’s given us a great opportunity to share the treats with our friends! They absolutely love the chicken wings and know they get one after every bath and toe nail clipping! Currently the meatballs and chicken hearts are drool worthy in our house. We love that we can treat them with something that isn’t full of fillers and is good for them! We don’t even buy other treats any more!”
