One of the owners, Mrs. Vanessa Jones-Pollard, went above and beyond for my sister, who has cerebral palsy. Because of my sister’s disability, she was unable to travel to the funeral home or bring in her mother’s clothing. To my amazement, Mrs. Vanessa made not just one, but two house calls to meet with my sister personally who was in charge of her mothers funeral arrangements. I was truly touched — what funeral home these days still makes house calls?

Vanessa showed genuine love, patience, and understanding during one of the hardest times in our lives. She made my sister feel seen, respected, and cared for. She even followed up with phone calls after the service, which meant so much.

Her staff was just as kind and thoughtful. The driver who picked up my sister for the funeral was incredibly gentle and careful, lifting her with compassion and driving smoothly to avoid bumps that could cause her pain.

From picking up my stepmother from the hospital, to visiting my sister at home, to making sure the burial was handled with dignity and care, Mrs. Vanessa stayed with us until the very end. She even provided photos of the grave site so we would know exactly where to place the headstone.
