I cannot speak highly enough of this pharmacy. Vicky and Blake are honestly the best pharmacists I've ever met! They bend over backwards to help the patients that are needing medications and I just cannot speak highly enough. I can guarantee that is long as they are here I will continue to use them and give them my business. They are just amazing!!

I wanted to warn other about this store closing main checkout lanes early. I am a senior veteran and disabled. I shop late to get in and out quick but always have a large order of 200 dollars or more. I have chronic pain and need a regular lane to checkout I can't stand much longer and use self check. I was not aware this week they closed main lanes early. So beware if you shop late and have any disability because you won't get help. Used to be a nice store before Covid, was open till mid nite and actually were concerned about there customers. They. spent thousands revamping store but there is NO customer service.

Not enough checkers and the self check out was the most inefficient I've yet to experience. Several produce items were not located on screen and required an attendant to look up and enter (head of broccoli pretty common item). No removable scanner for self checkout of large items (case of water required yet another wait for attendant). I had a small cart which should have only taken about 5...it took at least 20 minutes. Dierberg's needs to re-evaluate this process's. I won't be going back. Walmart is much more efficient.

Be aware that this location charges 10 cents per bag. It is a city ordinance. Also seems like a payoff because Dierberg's keeps the 10 cents per bag...so while not a lot for an individual, it is pure extra profit for the store. I mean, this is something they give away for free at other locations. For me personally it is also annoying because I reuse plastic shopping bags for trash bags around my house. So I've been going down the street to Walmart (in Glen Carbon, no bag fee) for my groceries. In short, if you are looking to avoid this fee, hit up another Dierberg's or go about a mile down the road to Glen Carbon.

This pharmacy is fantastic. I love the drive up, and they're almost never busy so no wait. The employees have always been super friendly even when I accidentally showed up right at closing one time to pick up a prescription. So glad we made the switch here.

Like many states, they all have their lux chains and I feel like Dierbergs is quite close to a Whole Foods, but much more affordable. I had visited this particular locations several times and while it's large, it's easy to navigate. They have all of your needs, whether it be fresh veggies, meat, alcohol, deli/tavern, snack, etc. Everything is priced well and again very easy to understand where your items are. I've been to enough store where their food is not that appetizing (veggies & meat) and trying to navigate isle is like driving through downtown NYC. The few times I dealt with the staff they were cheerful and willing to help if needed. Short review, yes, but to the point I was quite impressed with Dierbergs Market.

One of the things that I didn't want to give up when I moved out of St. Louis, was my Dierbergs. I was a regular at the one located in Mackenzie Pointe, which was relatively close to my home. It was less than 5 miles. The departments that I favored were; produce, prepared foods/deli and meats. I am happy to say, I like my new Dierbergs. My new Dierbergs isn't as close, it's 16 miles away. However, it is well worth the drive. I hosted Christmas dinner for a small group of cousins and to make my hosting duties easier, I ordered a couple of side dishes from their prepared foods. The glazed baby carrots got rave reviews from my guest. Their liquor department is also pretty awesome. I was able to add gin, hard seltzer and craft beer to my already well stocked bar for my holiday guest. They even had a good variety of mixers to fine tune my cocktails. I was able to stock up on; ginger beer, tonic and club soda. Shopping here during the pandemic and a holiday season, was safe. They required all customers and staff to wear mask. They sterilize the shopping cart handles between use and they wipe down cash wrap areas in between each customer. A bonus of shopping here is the other nearby stores. When I come to Edwardsville, I can have a day of shopping and fulfill my all needs. Will I return? - Yes, I'm a fan of Dierbergs. When: December 23, 2020 Why: Groceries for the holiday dinner.

Best pharmacy in Edwardsville. I grew up in small town where the pharmacist took time to know you. Moved to Edwardsville and tried bigger chain pharmacies. Both nationwide places were terrible. Despite picking up maintenance meds monthly, they had no idea who I was after over 1.5 years. I think it's the way those companies setup their staff, not the staff ignoring. Dierberg's knows me. They know my name, my kids, wife, etc. They talk to me to see if there are any changes in doctors and such. As the pharmacy is the last line of defense in making sure you don't have a dangerous interaction with different meds from different docs, it is highly important that they take the time to know you and your situation.

This review is of the floral department only. I called the store a week before my wedding to ask if they could order sunflowers for my wedding bouquet. I spoke with a lady (I think her name was Linda). She said she would talk to her boss (Keith) and see what they could do for me. She could not guarantee if they could get sunflowers in but, again, they would see what they could do for me. Keith called me back in a few days. We talked through what I wanted and what my price point was. Let me tell you, Keith f-ing delivered! My bouquet was stunning!!!!! It had sunflowers and it only cost me $21. Everyone raved about my bouquet and I love showing pictures of it off.

Normally, this Dierberg's is my favorite grocery store in town. Lately, I'm seeing people with no masks walking around and successfully going through checkout. I've witnessed this in recent weeks and just again this evening. There are huge signs saying that masks are required, but no one is enforcing this rule. Wal-Mart is now a safer place to shop, and that's really disappointing.

I was a few doors down from Dierberg's on a Saturday picking up a few things and decided to run in to see if this location had my Raw Rev Glo Bars. They did! I bought 12 of them (Birthday Cake & Chocolate Chip Cookie) and did self-checkout. I was thrilled they had them. One of my local stores was out of them the previous day.

Friday, March 20, the store was a chaotic mess. No management on the floor to aid customers thru checkout, customers generally very well behaved, yet no direction given as so how to line up, etc. Schnucks across the street was entirely opposite, store manager and staff right in the throes of the checkout lanes with an easy system to follow and handle the lines of customers... we applaud Schnucks very much, Dierbergs gets a huge fail. Hopefully they can learn and do better...

I used Dierbergs for the food for my mother's birthday party. Dierbergs has a great variety of appetizer trays, cheese trays, and sandwich trays. The food was delicious and portions were very generous.
