This was my first visit to this location. I booked online using the app. The pictures of the property and room looked decent. Price was a little high for a Monday night. Our check in was not the greatest. The person at the desk was just sitting in the back, so not very attentive. Our room was not great. Stains on the floor and the walls. The toilet was already plugged when we used it. We went to the desk to inform them and we were just handed a disgusting plunger in a plastic bag. So we had to take care of it ourselves and we had just checked in. The outside was always loud with semis coming and going from the gas station which isn't the hotels fault but just an fyi if you are a light sleeper. I was not impressed with this establishment and will more then likely not return.

We got in late, just before midnight. They'd upgraded us slightly to a 2 queen bed suite from the 2 queen bed room I'd reserved, which was really nice since I couldn't sleep and my dad was exhausted. While the bed area and bathroom were very clean, housekeeping seemed to have missed the couch as there were crumbs on it from a previous guest, otherwise our overnight stay would have been 5 stars. The AC was cold and the comforters were actually cozy. There was an extra blanket in the armoire if needed. I'm a chronic insomniac so I didn't go to sleep til about 2 and I woke at 5, but I woke feeling more rested than I have in weeks. The dining room isn't big, but the woman in charge of the breakfast area did a great job of staying on top of the cleanliness of both the tables and food area so there was always a choice of clean tables when I'd gone down on my own and when I went back with my dad. Dad is sensitive to artificial scents and something about the room was driving his sinuses haywire, but it was a relief to find a hotel in this price range that didn't smell like people had been smoking anywhere in it. If my oldest niece had been traveling with us, she would have loved the bedside booklights. There were plenty of easy access outlets in the bed area and sitting area. Great care was clearly taken to provide plenty of seating and places to put bags/suitcases. Comfort Suites has gone up in my preferences on where to stay when traveling, especially without Dad since it did bother his sinuses, thanks to this experience.

Smoke alarm went off at 1 58am due to low battery and every 30 seconds after.. when checking out the guy just said we know and have batteries but didnt offer anything not even an im sorry... Would not stay again
