“Loved it! Very family oriented. Got to meet Chris n a few of he’s friends/family. They actually have a kitchen that cooks delicious plates, steaks. Didint need to go out for dinner. Beautiful town too!! I’ve stayed in quite a few holiday inns this past year for work. This one is definitely my favorite so far!!”

“The AC unit was very loud when it turned on. Other customers were inconsiderate between 10pm to midnight. They were very loud. The hotel has outdated cribs that don't appear to be within current regulations. Make sure you bring your own pack n play or portable crib. The customer service was great. The room wasn't the best but it was clean. The pool is great and looked very clean.”
“We had a car emergency and needed to stay in the closest hotel we could find for a few nights. We came in stressed and uncomfortable. Cody at the front desk was very understanding and accommodating to our needs. He didn't bat an eyelash at my loud young kids! The room was clean and the breakfast was perfect for the kids. Staff at breakfast was also very accommodating and the breakfast food was continuously stocked.”
“Very solid place to stay. Employees super kind and helpful. Place is extremely clean. I like the balconies on the second floor. Beds comfy and breakfast good. Only complaints is that you can hear some highway noise and the breakfast area is small. Now that said, I'd stay again if passing through as the price is definitely right.”

“Met with a smile, a room, and cookies! What could you want? A cold beer for him and a wine for me. A great ending to a long day on the road. Woke up after a wonderful quiet sleep to a great breakfast, coffee, and a warm greeting at 6 am! Start out on my journey to one of Effingham's Big beautiful crosses and a rainbow. The day could get any better!”
