Been with mediacom for awhile and least to say it’s not worth it. My Wi-Fi while go out and and I have to reset the box to get it going again. Just this morning my Wi-Fi went out and even me resetting the box didn’t do anything. I had this problem a couple of months ago, but they said that everything was fine. My Wi-Fi was working good for a while and then just yesterday or the day before I started to notice it going out again. I’ve also seen a lot of people saying they’re having the same problem. I will definitely be changing Internet providers.

Mediacom in Effingham, IL was outstanding! Jackie and Brad were very knowledgeable and punctual about helping. Kyle knew exactly what to do and was very informative and quick at installation. Would highly recommend them! If you have a business contact Kara there, loved how she explained everything for my business needs as well.Very pleased customer :)

they will say there is nothing wrong even if you know it's from their side. if you are doing anything productive with the internet, i would get a different provider. these 5 star reviews must be from bots. will constantly disconnect you from the internet as others have said, this is an internal problem. the worst service i have ever experienced and i don't know how this place is still operating.

In my area, this is the only game in town. Signing up is great, then you get the cable attitude. Just as lousy as Comcast.

Don't try to get help on your lunch break they are closed for lunch time.. they are friendly for the most part.. the tech's are the best part of the company..

I've had Mediacom internet service for close to 10 years. My connection was never right from the start, tons of buffering and connection lost instances, I've probably reset and power cycled my router/modem a thousand times(literally). Several calls to tech support never fixed a thing. I finally switched to a new provider and I've literally had zero issues. Being so frustrated with Mediacom I felt obligated to write a review for others experiencing similar issues. Save yourself time and money and just switch to a different provider. Mediacom should rename their company to MediaTrash as it is a much better representation of their services and company as a whole.

I would rather NOT have any cable or internet service than to come back to this worthless company. I was forced to use them, that was all available in this area. Ive had these idiots for a year and a half, they were at my house every other month to "fix" the problem. Ive lived all over the United states and 4 different countries, this company IS THE WORST EVER ANYWHERE. UNPROFESSIONAL, UNETHICAL, and overall WORTHLESS! Go with ANYONE else!

Great when it works. Super frustrating when it doesn't or when it's intermittent. But it is currently the only viable option until fiber comes into our neighborhood.

Horrible service and very unstable internet. Look elsewhere.
