Big John's is a long standing tri county staple and locally owned grocery store with a hometown feel. The store is always very clean and organized with polite and friendly staff. It is wheelchair accessible. Prices are similar to large chains, with good sales, and are a bit better now. The meat department is the best anywhere around, with the best meat cuts, very good quality, and a butcher on staff. Their deli meats and cheeses are mouth watering and their hot eats to take home are always delicious. The bakery is an entity of its own, putting out the best donuts and buttercream cupcakes in the area; you've gotta try the fresh donuts they make every morning. The store has employed many students part time over the years to help establish good work ethic. Customers come from other towns to shop there.
This store is a tri county staple, has employed many students part time over the last 50 years, and still has the best meat department anywhere around. This is because they care about the quality of what you eat.
