Bank trash! They have fed up with their excuses to open an account for me. First, they are so ignorant that they DO NOT accept my PR license just because I have the version that does NOT say USA. The US version was released a few weeks after they gave me my license. I show them the digital license that does say USA and they still DO NOT accept it! I showed them my temporary Illinois ID in what I received in the mail and they didn't want to accept it either. They are racists towards Puerto Ricans! They are ignorant! They should be ashamed! Not very American nation! In schools they should teach these gringos that PR IS PART OF THE USA!!! How many Puerto Ricans have lost their lives in the damn war! Fighting for the conflicts that damn Americans seek! Ohhh but to die for this nation we are useful. Peron so that they treat us with respect and dignity for that,

Let’s start by saying this is the worst bank.
I had $430 in my bank account and if you don’t spend or use any of it for like a month in a half ur account closes and you gotta make a new account for inactivity even tho I had money in my account I have proof too and it even says I have the same amount of money in there when I checked, I tried to go to the bank and fix my account but that wasn’t a option sense they closed it and told me to make new account which I’m not gonna do so I asked nicely can I just take my money out I had in there? And the bank teller told me she couldn’t even find my account so I gave her my account number and everything and she told me she’s gonna look into it and get back to me in a week even tho I showed proof everything and money in the account. I waited a week they never called me they never do trust me so I called them after a week and asked what’s my account status? bank teller said do you remember who you talked too? I said no because she never gave me her name so I described her right, They didn’t even try to talk to me or help they said I’ll transfer you to customer service like they always do and that doesn’t help at all my account is closed and I just need my money back I had in there so I told her no I Don’t wanna talk to customer service there not gonna do anything I already know this and this bank teller wasn’t even trying to help she had attitude and told me she wasn’t gonna help me that she doesn’t tolerate Rudeness and hung up because they way I described her what a joke. I have screen shots and proof of them making a one time transfer out of my account the day I went to the bank so I have $0 now and i don’t know where they transferred my money too or went

DO NOT BANK WITH BMO HARRIS!!! Under any circumstances!!! I've experienced nothing but headaches and disappointment in dealing with BMO. Their security/fraud department is an absolute joke! My account gets locked for attempting to use it at a gas station in my home town yet BMO allowed $1,300 to be fraudulently taken from my account with no problem. BMO's customer service is hands down THE WORST I've ever experienced and I've had to contact them multiple times per week for the past 5+ weeks because they're incompetent and never solve ANY ISSUE. I've been out of the country with no access to my accounts on several occasions because BMO always chooses the WORST times to lock you out and there's never "anything they can do about it". All of these shortcomings have occurred several times throughout my banking experience with BMO so it isn't just bad luck. They're consistently bad at everything they do. I have numerous family members, friends, and coworkers who have had the exact same negative experiences with BMO as myself! BMO is THE WORST BANK anyone could ever bank with! Stay far away from them at all costs! They also have abnormally high overdraft fees and the worst overdraft protection.

I have been trying for a couple weeks to get help. I got transferred around several different times and last week was on the phone 90 minutes trying to get help. I am on my daughters acct with her and we have both moved out of state which has made banking difficult for her. In June she started using a local bank and called our IL branch to tell them to stop paying on her loan at another bank. (I had arranged this to be done through bill pay years ago). Chase what matters. Bmo has a fee for everything.. I cant recommend a company that does not value customers
