Very rude and cut me off as I’m only asking questions about the services they provide.
Because he was stressed out dealing with other customers doesn’t have anything to do with me inquiring about a service. Completely cut the conversation off told me “I don’t think this is a good fit” and hung up! I’ve been a customer here for years from the surrounding neighborhood. I will never rest in after the treatment I received today!

If i could give 0 stars i would. Came in to get my AC fixed, as the drivers side was not working. $300 later I come to pick up my car and the problem isn’t fixed.. Drop my car off again and come to pick up STILL NOT FIXED and another $400. The manager slammed my car door in my face and walked away after I asked for reimbursement. All i got back was a car that reeks like cigarettes and my AC still broken. This place is a joke.

I’ve been bringing my cars into Bunges for the last 10+ years. We’ve had moments of bad service, but they’ve always corrected themselves.
Yesterday I brought my car in for a routine oil change, but also for a diagnostic that I was almost certain I knew the answer too.
Upon receiving my car back, I could see it was poorly put back together. My air bag was jiggling off my steering wheel to the point that I could see my steering column under it. I drove it around the block before noticing it and drove it back to the shop for them to address. They were in fact quite rude about the matter. I stated I didn’t want to bang on my airbag, and the mechanic basically yelled “WHY IT ISNT GOING TO GO OFF!” (My clockspring needs repair). Fact of the matter is, I paid you for a service and I expect my car to be returned to me in the manor that it was delivered.
Ultimately I chose not to have bunges replace my clockspring, as they quoted me hundreds of dollars over what Toyota Elgin did to fix and replace. How to mom and pop shops stay afloat if they can’t beat dealer prices?
Sadly, this will likely be my last visit to Bunges. Best of luck.

Honest, fast, and they actually care. Brought my car in for a few concerns and they took the time to explain everything clearly—no upsell, no pressure. Just solid work from people who know what they’re doing. This is my go-to shop in Elgin from now on.
